As far as I can tell most of the parts related to the front of the phone and the screen are interchangeable. I spoke with an iPhone repair guy and he said that they have different flex cables....

Thanks! Wipe away most of the thermal paste that you can and then use 99% Pure IPA to clean away any residue. Avoid using rubbing alcohol, which is just 70% IPA. I like to use KimWipes as they leave very little lint....

Sorry to say the foam rubber breaks down over time into a gummy mess. You’ll need a good solvent to cut thought the mess (Toluene). Chosen Solution phone 6s that died, suddenly froze and screen went blank, no audio, no vibration. No issues with touch before this happened. Thought it was dead, mainly because it no longer makes any noise and when you flip the silence switch it doesn’t vibrate. Should be talking or responding to home button because voice over is on.
