You can add a second hard drive instead of the optical drive, because a hard drive uses the same connector as the existing optical drive, but adding a second battery would require wiring and electronics that just don’t exist in the computer, and as far as I know, no one has taken this on as a project....
Chosen Solution I have the SM-G991W model. Recently I just got the battery replaced thinking that the battery was bad. But wasn’t sure because my phone would say my phone battery is too cold,or my phone is too cold. I would either get slow charging or no charging. The ambient temperature is like 25 - 30 degrees Celsius. Chosen Solution My ipods locked out and it says to connect to itunes ive tried but it saying its locked by a passcode Turn the iPod off. Plug it into the computer and press and hold the home button at the same time until a iTunes screen appears. Click restore. It will download the files and then restore it. This will delete everything on the iPod so it will be like new....

NOW, NEW DRUM LIGHT STAYS LIT & WILL NOT TURN OFF AFTER CLOSING DOOR. Now i have same problem old and new screen. That is because this is probably the backlight fuse / IC need to be replaced on the logic board. Which is not user replacable.

Does this mean I need to purchase a new LCD + front screen? Thanks, Matthew x. If the LCD appears to be undamaged, you can replace just the digitizer glass. It can be quite a pain to get the old one off without damaging the wifi antenna and the power flex cable....

The first thing I always check is the connection between the ribbon cable from the keyboard and where it plugs into on the motherboard.
