Chosen Solution This drive is out of warranty so my only option would be fixing it if possible. The drive is a Buffalo MiniStation Thunderbolt bus powered drive that also has USB 3.0. The thunderbolt stopped working yet the USB 3.0 works fine. I have two of these drives and the other currently works with thunderbolt. Is there any way to fix the thunderbolt port? My computer is currently down because final cut pro X, logic and aperature used all of my remaining other (yellow bar of death) disk space in the background and thus I am now unable to load the OS and power my monitor....

Chosen Solution I know that is not soldered on motherboard, becouse I open the laptop but I don’t know what better CPU to buy? And is it worth it? You could. To be on the safe side, you should look at CPU’s with the same TDP. Like a i7-2670QM. But that only gives you an speed advantage of 200mhz on the base clock. Definitely NOT worth the upgrade. So what are options beyond that ?...

Chosen Solution The page turn button on the right side of my Kindle is busted - when I press it, nothing happens. The other one works fine. Does anyone know a way to fix the page turn button? One possible cause is a damaged or shorting ribbon cable. While repairing my Kindle’s power button, I accidentally damaged the narrow flexible ribbon on the right side. Chosen Solution i have a lawn mower, when i pull the cord it pulls my hand back This type of kick back is usually caused from the engine timing being off.It is usually a sign of a bent or sheared key between the flywheel and the crankshaft. Remove the upper cover of the engine. Remove the starter cup from the top of the flywheel. Remove the nut on top of the flywheel and check the alignment of the groove in the flywheel with the groove in the crankshaft....

Chosen Solution So there was an issue with a customers iphone xr boot looping and so when i took it apart and looked at the board under the microscope i found that there was a cpu/nand short on the board, is there anyway i can repair this? because i dont see a way how i would microsoder a new component on. Chosen Solution Sadly, your friend left something resting on the keyboard so when he closed the lid it pressed on the screen damaging it. The back glass which is where the metal oxide is etched onto is a bit more brittle than the cover glass side. The physics of the glass shifting a minuscule amount can cause it to crack the back glass not the front glass! Chosen Solution After a hard fall onto its back, my iPhone 6 screen has a halo around the edge – and the darker parts of any screen image slowly fades to its opposite color. These color bars run long ways. In addition, every 30-45 seconds a wavy still image of what’s on the screen slowly rises from the home button end – even when the screen is in landscape mode. Locking and unlocking the phone immediately fixes this issue, but then is 30-45 seconds it happens again....

Chosen Solution I have noticed some added magnetism on the side of the unibody case opposite the Smart Cover hinge. And I can see the new magnets in some of the iPad Air tear down pics. These magnets add functionality when using a Smart Cover. The cover no longer dangles lifelessly when folded around to the back of the iPad Air, now it stays flat and snug to the case thanks to these new magnets....

Chosen Solution Hi all, I am having this problem with my MacBook Air 2019 Retina. I replaced the Screen and after the screen replacement, my Touch ID and the Audio Jack stopped working. The internal speakers work perfect but the problem is the system keeps crashing with a Kernel Panic statement that relates to the Audio Jack board. I am thinking of replacing the Audio board since I am assuming the faulty board is making my Touch ID also not working....

Chosen Solution I recently replaced a battery on my G4 plus (Motorola battery, not aftermarket), but now it’s not showing that it’s taking a charge. I let it charge all night, but it never showed that it went up past 20%. Should I let it keep charging? Or should I suspect the new battery is faulty or there’s an error with the connection to the board? Any of that is possible, as well as the possibility something else was damaged during install....

If I do replace the battery with a 3rd party battery, will Touch ID be disabled? I use Touch ID a lot and I’m on the fence because I’m not sure if it disables it or not. Someone please help me. Hi Thomas, As @electronicsboy said, replacing the battery does not affect the Touch ID function; probably the reason the two seem to be associated is that there is always the possibility of damaging a connector or cable when removing and replacing the screen....

Chosen Solution Hi there! So long story with Bixby here. I Purchased a Samsung Galaxy S8+ in the US from T-Mobile. I moved to canada, and got my Samsung device Unlocked. i now have it unlocked, and able to be used on network. Everything works fine, however i have found that bixby voice does not work. I have bixby home working fine, and bixby voice is installed on the device, however, the bixby button doesnt do anything, and the Voice settings are not available on Bixby Settings....
