The knees have worn out and are now gaping holes yet he refuses to get rid of the pants. I have tried to replace them with newer versions of capilene base layer pants and none of them (3 pair, different versions) “work”. Chosen Solution On my wired aluminum iMac keyboard, I’ve been gently cleaning years of tiny dust-bunnies from underneath various keycaps that have become less responsive. When I removed the caps lock keycap to get underneath, I found it has a little metal bar and two plastic pieces. No matter how I configure it, it won’t snap back nicely into place like the other keycaps. Anyone know a link to a photo of how it’s supposed to look so I can snap it back in?...

I turned my PC’s power on and off and since then I’ve been getting no signal on both displayports and hdmi cables on both my monitors. The PC turns on like usual - fans spinning, no unusual noise - yet my monitors can’t get a signal....

The only way i could figure out would work is to get 2 battery traya that hold two 18650 batteries each to replace the 2 double 18650 battery packs already there. This would require modifying the back aide of the case to access them to remove and charge externally....
Chosen Solution Hi, I have an AP 1st gen (A1034), that seem to be dead… no light comes on when unplugging then plugging it back AC Adapter. Resetting the AirPort to factory settings do nothing. A voltmeter across the plug show 0V. But, I don’t know if it is an automatic feeder. Is the power supply dead? What I can do? There is a point when it doesn’t save you anything when trying to fix an older version of the device....
Chosen Solution I bought the upper case of the 2.4 GHz Model and wanted to change it because the keyboard of that uppercase has back light. But the problem is my logic board does not have the connector for the led ribbon cable, but ifixit says that it should work and the upper cases are fully compatible. Are they interchangeable? Yes, They are interchangeable, yes, you do have that connection on your board, yes, when plugged in, they keyboard will light up....
Chosen Solution I opened my Asus X200CA laptop for cleaning, and I did not pay attention to the screw lengths. I ended up with two longer screws and the rest were shorter. Does anybody know where the two long screws go for this? I suspect they are used to fasten the CPU fan. Also, I am only referring to the motherboard internal screws, and not screws that hold the keyboard and case together....

I Turned all the lights off in my Place, Took a flash light, Did the Flash Light test. I hit settings i can See The Settings and everything on there, I did try and turn up the Backlight Settings, And Brightness Nothing happened. Watching Videos they said lay in On its face, I did and they said you’d Be able to see the back lights were on, I did not see any back lights....

Chosen Solution Hi My brake lights only work when i put my car in park, any idea??? we had a similar issue recently (different car but maybe the idea is the same) if you look beneath the brake pedal follow it up the “arm/lever” you may see a little push switch,it is depressed by the brake lever/arm not the pedal. ours was broken but the trigger part was still attached. so no matter how much brake, no contact was being made, hence no brake light....

Some micro-soldering techs offer the service of repairing torn Home Button Flex. It really depends on where the flex tore as some cases are harder to repair than others. Personally I don’t offer this service, nor do many techs because to make it worthwhile, the price you need to charge starts to get close to an Apple Screen replacement....
Chosen Solution I installed a new iphone 6 LCD screen and digitizer assy. for my daughter. Everything went great and was working fine. After she received it, her only complaint was the speaker she puts up to her ear sounded terrible. I swapped the speaker out for the one that was on her old cracked screen and it sounded great. She loved the new screen and the way it sounds. But, after changing the speaker out she says neither camera (front or rear) works or the light works....
