Chosen Solution Hello, I accidentally dropped my OP3 and since then it started having trouble with at least the cameras, gyro, accel, proximity sensor. Immediately after it, it seemed sporadic, but a few months later it seemed to be forever already. Same problem as here described: https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/all-s… It is definitely a HW problem, as restoring the phone, entering the factory menu, etc make no difference at all, the sensors are just not recognized anymore....

Chosen Solution I have a 5 year old floor to ceiling integrated Scholtes freezer (model RU3032NF). I noticed a puddle underneath the unit and have removed it. I tried a full defrost and re-connected after 2 days. I observe that the pipe coming out of the condenser develops a thick layer of ice over several hours then stops, melts completely and the cycle starts again. The freezer itself works well and everything stays cold....

Chosen Solution Hi. My parents own iPhone 6 - a 16gb and 32gb versions. My dad’s iPhone is a 16gb but he has been facing issues with the touch screen. My mum’s iPhone is a 32gb and off late she has been complaining of not being able to listen to conversations and has to switch on speaker mode to speak. I’m upgrading her to a XR. Chosen Solution My iPhone 6 plus currently has a dead screen, but the phone is still working fine. I’m looking into replacement screens and I’m wondering if I am able to use a screen with a black front plate to replace my current screen that has a white front plate. I know the home button can’t be swapped but that’s not a huge deal. I don’t really know why I wouldn’t be able to just use a replacement screen that’s black vs white like it originally was but who knows, maybe there is a hidden incompatibility....

Chosen Solution i was on UEFI mode on my laptop and i did changed it to bios mode: after that i cannot get into bios :( also tried let battery drain until 9% and tried to enter to bios no luck :( currently i’m on A13 bios version When turning on the computer, repeatedly hit F11 or F12 (depends on the machine). Chosen Solution I tried to hack my 3Ds by downloading LUMA, Homebrew, FBI and all that stuff. It turned out that it didn’t work, so i wanted to get it back to normal again. Then i deleted everything inside the SD card, and when i put it back into my 3DS, it wouldnt turn on. it glows orange when i charge it but when i press the power button, it goes blue for 1 second then goes black....

Chosen Solution My 16” MacBook Pro will no longer charge the battery, nor will it run under power from the power supply (power supply is fine - works on other computers). Battery is now depleted and I need to recover files from the internal drive. I suspect that the logic board will need to be replaced, which means my internal drive is gone. So, before that is done, I’m wondering if the depleted battery can be replaced with a fully charged one, to allow time to transfer files to an external drive....

Chosen Solution I replaced the battery in my HTC 1m9 and its charging but I can’t turn it on. What do you see from the phone at the moment when you plug the charger in? You should see at least: An orange light at the top, a charging logo displayed at the middle, hopefully with a percentage sign under the battery as well. Chosen Solution At first I thought it was an overheating issue, but it happens pretty much right away sometimes, with the laptop almost stone cold. It only seems to happen if I attempt to multi-task, as in have a browser open while listening to music etc. And as I said, if sound is playing it becomes just white noise, fuzzy. If theres nothing playing then it remains quiet. The screen goes black, but is still lit up....

Chosen Solution Have 124 VAC across control board transformer. Have 15 Vac out of transformer two locations. The casual and Timed dry led,s are lit dimly. I also noticed slightly warm display. especially the top part. Touch ID stopped working too. I replaced the battery myself but still, I’m getting the same issues. Not knowing it had received water on it I used it and it worked normally for like 5-10 minutes before having a black screen (for a few minutes the battery did a weird crackling noise as well and the jack port had a red light)....

Chosen Solution PS4 not accepting or ejecting disks. Drive still recognizes disks while using manual eject screw and will play them. Swapped for identical Blu Ray drive and it is exactly the same. Still wont accept or eject disks but can play using manual eject. Also, I rebuilt the database and updated the system. Did not initialize. Totally got me stumped… That’s some good testing and diagnosis you’ve done. Usually in this case I would take the large square chip on the underside of the PCB and swap it onto another PCB that has the same 3 digit code on it....

Hi, It is possible to have the charge port replaced, however if you wish to do it yourself, you need SMD (surface mounted devices) soldering tools, the expertise to do it properly and know exactly which replacement part is required. There are a lot a USB connectors available, getting the one with the correct configuration is a must....
