Chosen Solution Hi. I have replaced broken digitizer with original screen and frame from disassembled phone. After connecting new screen the digitizer seems to not working. There are unresponsive vertical and horizontal zones. Does it mean that the new digitizer is broken or the mainboard? Primary damage was located around back button. Update (12/29/2016) After checking second and third screen i know that it was digitizers fault. Hi, Try another screen before assuming that the connector on the board is bad....

Chosen Solution So I’m looking to replace the screen of my macbook, and all of the screen replacements are very expensive. I found one on ebay that is relatively cheap, but the only problem with the screen is that the inverter on it has been cut. If I purchase the screen and a replacement for the inverter, should I be able to replace the screen? The reviews on the product say you cannot use the screen since the inverter is cut but I feel like you should be able to replace it....

Chosen Solution I’m looking to upgrade the RAM in my laptop. It currently has memory slot 1 with 8GB Samsung 1600 MHz and the manual says it can support up to 16GB by adding another 8GB SO-DIMM into slot 2. Chosen Solution I can’t boot into MacOS, won’t go past Apple with the loading wheel. Recovery mode works for a while and crashes, graphics are just a bit slow and glitchy at times. I think the HDD is corrupted as verbose startup says The Volume Macintosh HDD could not be verified properly. I can sometimes boot into ubuntu if it does not go to a black/gray screen. If I boot into ubuntu and try to access my HDD it crashes, if not it eventually crashes anyway....

Chosen Solution I just put in 16GB on my macbook pro 13 inch early 2011 and “About MAC” only shows 8GB with one slot open. I am on high sierra. Does About MAC not recognize more than 8GB or do I need to check that both memory cards are installed accurately? Check which slot is being seen, then switch the sticks to see if it is the stick or the slot....

Chosen Solution can i put a 1 TB chip in the phone myself or do i have to take it to a phone shop or can it just not be done no you can’t do it youself as you need proper tools and experience to remove the old chip, then you need a nand programmer to write the data from the old chip to the new chip and then resolder it to the logic board

Chosen Solution I got my iPhone battery replaced at Staples (it was less expensive to have them do it than to do it myself), and everything was fine at first, but now my phone rattles if I shake it. I assume the battery has come loose somehow. My phone is still working just fine. Everything is functional. How serious of an issue is this? Chosen Solution I changed the battery but it still does not hold a charge for more than a day. I have also noticed it would completely discharge. For example I use it as my alarm clock and the other morning the alarm went off and the phone died. This is confusing as it is not happening all the time.
