Chosen Solution My MacBook is currently only charging when asleep or shutdown. The battery itself is the original and has 1057 cycles which I know is very high, but it says its in “fair condition”. My charger was bought 6 months ago. When using the MacBook the light on the charger is green, however, it states that the battery is not charging. When I put it into sleep mode or shut it down the light becomes orange and it starts to charge....

Chosen Solution Headphone jack tip broke off of my Beats EPs and I don’t really wanna replace the entire jack, do I have to in order to fix it or can I repair the one that’s on it already? You need the whole jack for conductivity, sorry, you need to replace it.

Chosen Solution After liquid damage.. cleaned logic board, replaced battery/lcd digitilizer. however screen remains black with no sign of backlight either. I can sort of see slight blackness on the lcd logic board component but wouldn’t have thought enough to prevent the screen to not be working plus I would still have the backlight on, and its component is fine. ive checked that its seated in properly into logic board etc....

Chosen Solution After replacing the battery on my 10.1” galaxy tab 3, the little bar clamp on the orange cable broke and the cable does not clamp down in the slot. Swiping the screen is now erratic and often not even happening. I guess this is the problem as I have changed the battery before with no ill effects. Is it repairable? Holding the cable in place with tape does not help....

Chosen Solution I had the dreaded GPU issue on my Early 2011 Unibody MBP 17" about 18 months ago, and had relegated it to the cupboard as too expensive to repair and got a second hand Air instead to tide me over until I got something better. Chosen Solution I would not recommend doing this as the case on the lower edge will likely hit your heatsink damaging your SSD and/or logic board. As far a cooling of the SSD the placement of the SSD is not by chance! Being just above the ports where the fresh air enters from the port perforations cools the SSD. I doubt you’re altering the SSD’s drive cells that frequently to push the thermals beyond what the SSD can handle....

Chosen Solution i recently dropped my phone my phone opened even the charger fell out. When i turned it on the screen was obscure with lines. I could still touch the screen , but not on the parts that where obscure. After a couple of hours the whole screen went black and could not even touch the screen no more. Chosen Solution I would like to know if I am able to transfer the internals of an iPhone 6S Plus, and set it up inside of an iPhone 6 Plus housing. I would be putting the correct screen on as well. Will the housing be compatible? Unfortunately, no. The screw holes on the logic boards don’t line up between the 6P and the 6SP.

Chosen Solution Hello, so I messed up the cable on the home button from a 8plus but I have a parts 8. So I wanted to slap the home button from that into the plus. Is that able to be done and will the Touch ID not work? No it will not work. None of the home button functions will work. Even if you had an 8 plus home button. You need to purchase a universal home button for the return to home function to work, of course you will not have touch ID....

Chosen Solution Hello, I have HP x360 13-s102TU touchscreen laptop. Currently it has 1TB hdd and 4 GB RAM. I wanted to check whether it is feasible to change the HDD to SSD and upgrade the RAM to 8 GB. I was checking over internet, but havent found any substantial support in this regards. Chosen Solution charging port needs replacing, how do i do it Hi @jwuk , Here’s a link to a video that shows how to dis-assmble the tablet and replace the charge port in your tablet. You’ll need SMD (Surface mounted device) soldering tools and expertise to do the repair. At 11:17 minutes into the video the port is seen being removed from the systemboard It is not a job for novice repairers as you can cause more damage than what you had before you started if you don’t know what you’re doing....

Chosen Solution I am trying to repair a Chantilly Singing Bear. The batteries were corroded inside the battery holder, so I cleaned it out with baking soda, but still it doesn’t work. Opened it up and noticed on the red wire is attached to the battery holder, and there is a loose black wire just dangling from the circuit board not connected to anything. Isn’t there supposed to be both a red and black wire connecting to it?...

Well she was given a free screen swapped it over and the backlight doesn’t work ( could be why it was free) well I have done research and seen about the fuse I took the back off powered it up and I have 10v across the fuse when on and I can see items on the screen with a light shined on it....
