Chosen Solution I’ve seen some non-oem batteries reporting steady values at Battery Sensor 1 and Battery Sensor 2, it never changes. TB1T and TB2T respectively from SMC. I never tried ifixit batteries, does anybody knows if it happens the same ? Unfortunately ifixit support doesn’t respond to this technical question regarding their batteries. EDIT: with apple OEM battery this values are constantly changing as temps changes, maybe these batteries doesn’t have those sensors and output a steady value to pass the apple diagnostics ?...

Chosen Solution I have a repair request for a broken screen on an iPad mini, but it took a good hit to a corner when dropped (which is what shattered the glass). There is NO WAY a new glass will fit into this flattened corner and was just wondering how everyone is “reshaping” the corners to accept the glass. Chosen Solution I spilled a small amount of water onto my 21 MacBook Pro m1, and the computer immediately turned off. I opened up the rear case and found the connector between the logic board and track pad ribbon cable to have been partly burnt out (both on the board and also the cable) Is there a way to fix this without having to replace the whole logic board? Chosen Solution I just picked up my camera after 2 weeks of not using it. I cranked the lever to take a picture and it fired automatically. Also, the light meter/on switch was off. I tried a couple more times and it kept firing automatically at the end of the crank. I am living abroad right now with limited film and no known resources for film camera repair. Please help!...

Chosen Solution Hello, I just found a LG Power for $20 at Walmart and I LOVE it so far. I tried towelroot, but it said not supported. I also don’t want to use kingo root because it sends your IMEI and s/n to some random Chinese server. So, can I root this or install cyanogenmod on this? If so, how? King Root may be your only option. Very little effort is put into root methods for these phones due to them being inexpensive....

Chosen Solution After upgrading to Windows 7, my Samsung NP-N210-JA02US has been very sluggish. I am thinking about upgrading the RAM to speed it up, but I am not sure if I am able to or not. Unfortunately, the Samsung NP-N210-JA02US model can only handle a maximum of 2Gb of RAM. Chosen Solution My IBook was running fine with OS X 10.3.9, after attemting to install Tiger 10.4.x on it, the install program self aborted with a message of “errors detected”. Now seems that my HD 40 GB is “corrupted” and I am not capable of re-instaling even the 10.2.x OS X. I have tried to repair the disk with the DISK UTILITY which is enclosed in the original install disk but has nor possible to repair, erase or anything else....

Chosen Solution So I changed the screen and battery yesterday. Worked as a champ for awhile. Then it died. I put it in the charger. It shows the apple logo for about 2 seconds and then just “dies” black screen but with some light in it. When I remove the charger it dies completely. What could be wrong? Newp. He fried the u2ic with an aftermarket charging cable. Probably the battery as well....

Chosen Solution Got in iphone 6 plus, screen is smashed, changed the screen out and moved over the home button. Comes on, display works properly, Touch works, home button works. It will show 100 percent charged then go to 1 percent and shut down. Try to turn back on and it goes to the screen with the battery with a red line. Plug it in let it sit for a minute phone comes back on, and it shows that its charging....

Everything else works fine thankfully, but it seems like the gray clamp that keeps the connection together snapped off and it looks like the pin on top broke off with it. Chosen Solution I have a 2004 VW Passat wagon, it has four (cigarette lighter) power outlets. Two in the cargo area in the back, on on the back of the arm rest for the rear seat passengers, and the lighter outlet in front. All of them are powered on all the time, even when the car is off, and the keys are removed. I suppose this was seen by VW as a convenient way to allow smokers to light up, and run accessories without needing the to get in and turn the key....

Hi @taza , Your system has SATA port connections to the HDDs (up to 8TB storage) so you would need to find some sort of sata to usb adapter plus power arrangement for the USB HDD if you wanted to connect a USB HDD to the SATA port....
