Chosen Solution My iphone 5 is faulty, both home button and power button wouldn’t work. After thorough examination, I found out that two logic board components are missing. Probable cause might be me trying to take the battery out with some tool, maybe damaging the logic board . Components are located below the antennas-ribbon, close to sim tray spring. Chosen Solution I recently dropped my phone on its top edge, and now it looks like the glass is separating from the display and part of it created a large air bubble. it’s not over the LCD but, I’m afraid it might spread. if I need a repair done or a replacement bought, what would I need? A screen replacement, I suggest getting someone else to do it for you to avoid warranty issues....

Chosen Solution The decimal, 2, 5, 8, (, and the cos button are not working on the calculator. I let my brother borrow it and when i got it back it worked fine. I havent used it in a few weeks. Ive done everything the other forums say to do, and it still isnt fixing it. I reset the whole thing, reset with the button on the back, etc etc. Please help i have my act tomorrow and need a calculator for my math class....

Chosen Solution Hi! I have an iPhone 8 with a corrupt nand ic. I have removed the nand and plugged it in my JC Pro1000S. The reader detects nand but is stuck at “loading… 100%” Is there anyway to extrect the info i need to nand from the board so i manually can type it to the new IC? Thanks! Yes there is but not with the JC pro you are using....

Chosen Solution I Just fixed this by going into setting, device, accessibility… then turning on closed captioning. shouldnt have to do this IMO however once closed captioning was “allowed” in accessibility the subtitles reappeared once turned on during the video. Hope this helps.

Chosen Solution To clarify, when going to start work today, I pressed the power button and it started up for a half a second, then nothing. I’ve since cleaned out the fans and checked the back PSU BIST, which is green for that half second when the power button is pressed. I held down the PSU BIST button and was able to start the computer no problem, but I need to hold the button down to keep it from dying immediately....

Chosen Solution the phone doesnt show any sign of life, short to ground on every vcc main component, removed pmic but the shorts are still there Shorts on VCC_MAIN are the worst; you will have to find the faulty component. When there are no visual clues, you have to rely on the history of the device and possibly its last, dying moments of life ;>). The screen turned purple so the problem may be in the LCM driver circuit (Chestnut)....

I know there are several but I was hoping for some personal experience on this one. I don’t personally use it but its gotten a good write up ContentBarrier Secure X9 It also logs what sites have been visited so you can at least review them later.

She has done them before and never had a issue but this time it didnt work. After she replaced the screen with the digitizer the phone turns on but the screen stays black. I have reseeded the lcd cables and still nothing tried power cycle and still nothing unless im doing something wrong I dont what else to do....

Chosen Solution I tapped the right corner on the wall near the power button temporarily fixed it You can repair this iPad. It will take time, and some money for parts and tools. Then you risk breaking the touch-screen, severing the Wi-Fi antenna, and the Power-Mute-Volum flat cable. That said, if you carefully read this guide, and the relevant notes, and apply heat generously to the touch-screen during the removal (I pre-heat all 4 edges of the glass using a heat gun for 7~10 minutes at 185 degrees Celsius, then every edge in turn for 1 minute before trying the separation - see the guide and you’ll understand what I mean), it can be done: A/ First thing to try is disconnect then re-seat the Display Cable on both ends (using the guide): on the logic board and on the LCD....

Chosen Solution I’m trying to print borderless image from PhotoShop on 17" width roll of paper from Epson 7800, but I can’t seem to get the correct setting. I set for borderless printing (Roll feeding: borderless with single cut) under paper feed. And I set the image for 17"x11" (with no border) but it doesn’t print as borderless. Chosen Solution I plan to use my 2017 iMac as a display, following the instructions in this YouTube video. That will leave me with everything besides the monitor outside of the iMac case. My question is this: has anyone put these components together in an alternate form to get a working iMac without a monitor. Will the iMac logic board even boot up without a LCD panel attached? Alternately, we could leave all the logic in the iMac case, but then we would need to mount the iMac display panel in an alternate case....

I put a new camera in it and i unplugged the battery & checked to make sure the grounding clip had not fallen out , it was right where it is supposed to be. Chosen Solution I recently bought a new housing for my iPhone 6 similar tothis, which makes the iPhone 6 look like an iPhone 8, as my phone was bent and I figured it would be a bit sturdier. After I transferred all the parts over, I noticed that when I put the screen back on, the camera presses on the LCD and makes pressure marks. This is because the new housing has a larger camera lens to mimic the 8, and mounts the camera slightly lower on the case to do so, making the camera touch the top of the display....
