Chosen Solution what is BS meaning? It is a board standoff and shows it going to ground. These types do not go through the board. The BS stands for board standoff and the four numbers that follow is the location on the board. I hope this is not for an exam that you were supposed to research yourself.

These are kind of decreased if I do a hard restart (Home + Power) but come back again after a while. touch is fairly responsive and phone works fine as usual....

Chosen Solution Autofocus can’t focus with rear camera. This results in blurry pictures and “shaking” pre-view. I have noticed that the lens in the rear cover has a scratch which probably causes this effect. I am assuming its the type of glue or plastic that they used when manufacturing the laptop because it smells like a cheap plastic outdoor chair that has been sitting in the hot sun. Chosen Solution Original battery was not holding a charge at all and left me phoneless until I upgraded to an iPhone 4. I ordered an OEM replacement battery from Directfix.com and tore the 3G down and replaced it. I’ve taken it apart before b/c a rattling screw that came loose somehow was annoying the !@%$ out of me, so I’m accustomed with taking it apart and putting it back together without much hassle....

Chosen Solution The hard drive won’t boot up, but the startup utility does. Is all lost? If you can boot from the startup disk try running Disk Utilities to see if the drive can be repaired. Having a external drive plugged in to save your data wouldn’t hurt either. If this doesn’t work come back and we’ll work on how to replace the drive.

Chosen Solution I was opening my iPhone, when the phone was on. I think the flex cable of the screen broke, because i was seeing lines, and the display was slowly fading. Now, when i try to turn it on, there are no signs of life, I even tried mute/unmute switch, but the vibration didnt work. Is there a possibility i burned something on the motherboard? Chosen Solution So I did the unthinkable, I broke something a phone not soon after I got it. While I was changing the housing for the GNex, I forgot to remove the SIM card and it jammed the volume flex cable, and it ended up being severed. I just ordered replacements parts on http://www.parts4repair.com/samsung-gala…, but I tried to find any help or information on how to reattach a new flex cable, however there seems to be no information....
Chosen Solution I replaced the housing for iPhone 8 but rear camera and flash are not working anymore. I already tried to replace the camera, but it didn’t help. If you had to replace the housing too I’d guess the iPhone was smashed for good. Bad hits can cause shorts to components supplying power and data to the related parts, as probably in this case. Try to plug rear camera alone without the front camera connected, to rule out another part induced failure....

Your system has an older SATA interface: SATA I (1.5 Gb/s). So what ever SSD you get needs to be able to run at this speed. Check the spec sheets of the SSD you are thinking or or give the vendor a call to ask them....

No, there’s a reason your slot says “SATA III” and not “NVMe”. NVMe don’t use SATA connectors at all, they use PCIe lanes. Putting an NVMe drive in a SATA slot just simply won’t work. You’ll need to use something like the 860 Evo which maxes out at around 550 MB/sec....

Now IF i do take the battery out (which is glued in) to access the trackpad will I be able to reuse, reassemble the battery again or would I need to buy a whole new battery? Chosen Solution I have 2 iPhone 7 Plus one with 32gbs and another with 128 but in the 128 gb phone the button is broken. Can I switch the screen and button from the 32 gb phone to the 128 gb phone? No, this will not work as the home button is paired to the logic board. You can swap the screen if you want.
