Chosen Solution New dishwasher is installed and working great. Still no clarity on what the issue with the old one is. You have appliance gremlins. The flood switch is tripped. This is located under the unit. Unplug or flip the breaker to the dishwasher, take off the black kick plate under the door, 2 screws, and you will see the white plastic “pan”. The flood switch is located where you can’t really see it but it is on the left hand side wall and is made of styrofoam....

Chosen Solution My little one spilled water on my MacBook Pro 13” mid-2012 (A1278, EMC2554). The logic board was visibly burned so I replaced it with another one (thank you iFixit guides!). The computer works fine now and the battery holds power too, except I cannot use the power button to switch it on. I need to unplug the battery and plug in the magsafe connector to switch it on. Rest of the keyboard works fine....

Yes but I wouldn’t, a lot of work is involved to change just the glass/digitiser and generally the LCD ends up breaking anyway so to save time and grey hairs i’d just get another assembly....

Since you did not tell us the make and model of your computer, you will have to do some checking. Make sure that the additional RAM matches what your computer requires. A lot of times you cannot mix and match the RAM....

Chosen Solution its a pain to alway reach over and power on my mac, is there any key combination on my keyboard that could act as a power button? Apple’s direction with the iMac was you would leave it on and just put it into sleep mode when you either told the system to sleep or its timer would. Which is why Steve hid the power switch in the back ;-} The idea here was it took so much time to boot up (slow HD’s) people wouldn’t want to wait for the boot up....

You must use the right tools when disassembling and during reassembly. Chosen Solution So my xperia E is not working too well, everytime I try to watch a video the phone shuts down, the same with calls and music, the only time I can do these things is for about 3 minutes after turning my phone on sometimes even shorter, Hi, Have you tried doing it with the charger connected (and switched on)? If it works and doesn’t shut down then your battery is probably failing and needs to be replaced....

I have changed the Mainboard of my late 2013 15‘ Dual graphics MBP and I would like to know if it‘s enough to swap the EEPROM from the old motherboard to the new one in order to keep the serial number. As far as I know this should be possible but I‘m not sure about that. It isnt related to the digitizer though, this is for the ear speaker and proximity sensor. the ribbon replacement isnt going to be detailed in that link. Chosen Solution I’ve had my mac for about a year now (second hand). It was running very slow, now recently it starts up with the question mark + folder. I go through Internet recovery (sometimes I get an error -1007F, but if I leave the battery to drain and restart it works fine) then my laptop is fine again for a few hours before I have to go through the whole process again....
