Chosen Solution Basically my Xbox connects to the controller when it’s literally right by it then when I move it about 10-15 cm away and it disconnects. It’s not the controller it does it with everyone I tried.

Chosen Solution I just ordered my iPhone 5S screen replacement and after reassembling the new screen to the phone ( which I’ve done multiple times successfully before) Apple logo would pop up for a split second and then disappear, the screen would then go blank but I could still see the backlight. If I removed the charger the phone would automatically shut off. So I took it apart to clean the connections with alcohol, including the battery connections…and this time when I plugged it in the battery charging image showed up and the phone turned on once it was at a high enough percent but the screen was still blank only the backlight was lit up....

If I replace my hard drive do I need to find any software to boot from or will it boot on its own? You need to specially prepare the hard drive to install the AppleTV software; see the information on the AwkwardTV wiki or look for a service provider that replaces hard drives....
Chosen Solution When removing the LCD panel we remove two sets of inverter cables that each look identical. To be safe, I always mark one of the pair, so I know I’m putting back the same cable with the correct connector. Is this totally unnecessary? Are they interchangeable? They don’t appear to be keyed to only work with the correct one, so maybe either is correct? I usually mark those with a sharpie but sometimes forget....

Chosen Solution my samsung recently started not charging properly. It is plugged into charge but as i use it the percentage decreases until it goes to 0 and shuts down. i left it in last night to see if the problem was me using it while it was in charger ( even though iv never had a problem with this before) and it only had 83% when i woke up. so i left it in for another hour and it was still on 83, i jiggled the charger then it started charging....
Chosen Solution I’ve started using a 2012 MacBook Pro that hasn’t been used for a couple of years . The original battery has only 164 cycles but is showing as “Service Battery”. Yesterday, the maximum capacity of the batter was showing in system report as being about 2800 mAh. Today, oddly, it is showing as being a much better 4096 mAh. The message “Service Battery” is still being displayed though. The laptop is able to work with moderate use (documents, WiFi, bluetooth, occasional Geekbench benchmarks) on battery for about 5 hours which, to me, seems to be very good....

Chosen Solution I’m an electrician by trade and I had a go at this problem yesterday. I own a kenmore refig/freezer double frenchdoor, freezer chest on bottom model. I took apart front freezer compartment access and rear compressor/evaporator access. My initial observation is massive ice buildup in freezer compartment and the “duckbill” nipple all clogged up with some type of greyish susbstance. I initially thought it may be a sealant or silicone used to attach the nipple to the spout of my plastic freezer drain pan, but after looking at photos I took last night, I noticed there is a component in the top right of the freezer compartment wrapped in what looks like mastic duct sealant....
Chosen Solution cable was accidentally disconnected while in sync mode now it won’t let me move the slide to get into the iPod. It will let me load music, apps, and podcast through itunes but I can’t get in the unit to see if it synced So it’s safe to assume the iPod shows up as a device in iTunes, right? I’d do a full restore, but make sure everything on the iPod is backed up somewhere before doing so to avoid lost files....

Chosen Solution Cannot ID lamp cover. The photos are helpful & what should be where lamp cover is shown is a metal plate w/ square openings that will not come off after removing screws. My LG model RU52SZ61D not listed on LG.com website. @winifred the lamp access door is on the right side of the TV. Remove the door and slide the lamp housing out. If you have trouble with the door post some images of it with your question so we can see what you see....

What do I use? @stingersys when looking at charge ports look behind the battery or on the charge port itself and find the model number. example Verizon will be like N910V. order what is on the device currently. hope this helps.
Chosen Solution Hi. I need to change my logic board (i5 4gb ram) because it is only charging with 2W. To a used one from ebay (i7 8gb ram). The SSD is encrypted. Can I still use the same SSD without formatting it? Before you alter anything why don’t you just make a clean full backup unencrypted. If you used Apple’s FileVault2 encryption you should be fine. I would still have a master password and a recovery key setup beforehand....

But if it’s is charged, then I can power on the computer and it will keep turned on even if I remove the battery. The problem is that the battery died and I no longer can do that.
