Chosen Solution I was hoping someone might help me find a troubleshooting breadcrumb to follow. I don’t want to have to take it entirely apart and test every capacitor, resistor, fuse, and transistor to sort the issue out. I am looking over a Denon AVR-1909 receiver. The unit will output video but no audio. Steps I have tried: Re-seating a headphone jack. I see display note the insertion and removal of the headphones and I can hear the relays clicking over as I insert and remove the jack....

Chosen Solution I have a Samsung UN60J6200AFXZA. The screen just up and faded to black while in the middle of gaming. Red standby light blinks 3 times and then double blinks. I took the back panel off and plugged it in. (I’ve been using a surge protector for years.) The backlight flashes through the holes. When I disconnect the main wires from both circuit boards the backlights still stay flashing. I believe I read somewhere that if you unplug the wire and the backlight stays on then it means one thing and if it stays flashing it means another....

If so all you will need is a replacement rear glass panel and you are good to go. They are very easy to install as they only require the two bottom screws to be removed and voilà, you can take it straight off....

Chosen Solution I was charging my iPad when it fell of my bed and the lighting port seems to be bent inwards so it has to be at a certain position to charge is there anyway to fix it Do you mean the Lightning “plug”, the one at the end of the Lightning cable or the actual “port” which is recessed inside the iPad housing? I ask because I have a hard time imagining the the actual port could be bent without any other damage to the iPad....

Chosen Solution does anybody has seen such a screen on iMac? below the screen glass, on the black film of the LCD, there are bubbles that looks like this, once monitor light up Ick. That’s just gross. I have seen that happen to an iMac that sat in a damp basement for a year or so. I wouldn’t bother cleaning that because mold is hazardous. Chosen Solution Hey all! I have a really weird issue with my iphone 6S after i replaced the screen. Right after the replacement the screen was black. It seemed like it started up, as it vibrated when plugging it in and when using the mute switch. I figured i the screen must be faulty or i messed something up. Chosen Solution I rescued the machine in question from being tossed in a dumpster. It will power up if I charge its battery in my own 17" PowerBook first. But it will not start up without the battery when I plug the power cord in, nor will it charge the battery. The power adapter I tried is the original that came with my (identical model) 17" PowerBook. I’m thinking the DC-in board needs replacing....

I presume the zoom ring is stuck partially or fully extended and is visibly out of alignment. Chosen Solution The failed start capacitor in my floor-standing bedroom fan is 450V 1uF, but the only over-the-counter replacement I can find locally is 450V 1.2uF. It’s the same model number as the existing capacitor (CBB61), it’s just 0.2uF higher capacitance. I read somewhere that it’s safe to go for a higher capacitance, so it should be fine. Is that correct? The UF rating on that capacitor is almost the same so it’s fine....

Chosen Solution I have changed my screen I didn’t disconnect the battery before I did it and the BackLight isn’t working on the new screen. But when i put my old screen on its Completely fine.. I honestly need Help. You have done all the troubleshooting steps to properly identify that the problem is with the backlight circuit on the logic board. However, repairing the BL circuit requires a micro-soldering so unless you have the proper tools or experience, this is not a feasible DIY repair....
