Chosen Solution Good Morning, I cannot activate the phone after changing the IC, I changed IC audio and IC data and other parts in the phone but I finished, I reset the phone so I can restore the backup but I couldn’t activate it I tried force restart, activate with different WiFi, different SIM cards but nothing working. And iTunes gives me black screen, I used other softwares to restore the backup but when I boot I always get the same message “ Couldn’t Activate iPhone” P....

Chosen Solution Recently got my car fixed by replacing the ignition switch. in the last couple of weeks i have also replaced spark plugs, wires, rotor cap and rotor along with the Fuel filter. it has been driving and idling pretty ruff and as of today driving it home i was giving it gas to where it felt like it had no power till i finally came to the point of my gas pedal all the way to the ground with the check engine light ON it didn’t t wanting to go anywhere at this point....

Chosen Solution My hard drive failed so I replaced it and now when it starts I get a circle with a slash. I have tried to reset the pram holding the Command, option +r+p , I think that was the combination. I was able to hold the option button down at start up and the recovery icon came up. As soon as I clicked it I get the circle with the slash again....

Chosen Solution The A0751h has a sort-of known crashing problem. It seems to randomly freeze. Becoming 100% unresponsive, video is stuck on whatever image was before the freeze, the sound sounds like a broken record. There is no BSOD and it has been known to happen in the same way in linux. Updating the firmware to the latest version provided by acer helps a bit since the freezing is down to once every couple of days vs once every couple of hrs (or more frequent)....

Chosen Solution My Macbook suddenly stopped working. No matter what I do or try it’s won’t power up, the only clues I have as to what might be wrong are: Computer won’t start with or without battery, with or without mains. The LED on the magsafe connector lights green. Battery fully charged. RAM tested okay in another computer. What could be at fault here? Is it any use to try replacing the magsafe board or do the symptoms point to a dead logic board?...

Chosen Solution I just replaced the battery in my 6 plus. In removing the old battery one of the adhesive strips didn’t come out completely. I used a hair dryer to heat the case and pried it loose with a credit card, but the battery corner bent slightly while removing it. I currently have it in a fireproof bag I use for my drone batteries. What is the safest way to dispose of this battery....

Chosen Solution The glass panel covering the back camera has a crack in it. Can this be replaced? Both back cameras still work, but small bits of dirt start creeping in through the crack. Yes, look on eBay or replacebase. For now put a piece of sellotape over the glass to stop more dirt getting in. Update (10/06/2022) Safest way to avoid getting more dirt and possibly damaging the camera is to remove the back cover the apply heat to the glass with a hair dryer or hot air station then pushing the glass out from the inside....

Chosen Solution Hi A while ago I bought an iphone 7 that was used that had a broken screen. When I got it it wasn’t booting as it should, so I ttok out the battery and tried it in another iPhone 7. When I tried the battery in the other Iphone 7, that iPhone 7 wouldn’t boot normal either, and when it booted up the battery only says that it has 1% charge and when the lightning cable is plugged in it doesn’t say that it is charging....

Chosen Solution i have replaced my MBP battery , i bought from ifixit and did the guided procedures. the battery is working fine, however battery life couldn’t exceed 4 hours approximately, only web surfing. i tried to drain the battery to 1% then recharge it hoping that well fixit but no luck. please help So I have always heard that when you change the battery for a MacBook pro, you need to calibrate the battery first with the system’s power management....

Chosen Solution For some time ago my iPhone 3GS broke after using a cheap battery cover. It would loose power extremely fast and power off instantly if you used the dock connector. I have now replaced the entire back, including the cover, dock connector, mic, speaker, buttons, battery etc. The phone no longer powers off when using the dock connector, but the battery is still loosing power very fast. Is it the logic board that’s the cause?...

Chosen Solution Hi, I have an iPhone 5s for now 3 years and a half. The original battery lasted as long as 2 years and a half before dying, so I then replaced it by buying new ones on the Internet. However, the new batteries I bought (3 or 4 for now) only last 2 months before dying too, so I got to replace them quite frequently. During the first month of use, they usually work great and have a good capacity, but by the second month, their capacity drop very quickly and my iPhone doesn’t start anymore....

Chosen Solution So I’m replacing an iPod Touch 4th gen screen and one corner (top left) is dented inward due to fall damage. The screen can not lay flat without the corner some how bent back into place. Does anyone know any tips on how I can do this? I was thinking plyers but it may make it worse. Chosen Solution Hi all, I have an old Imac 27 mid 2011 top with i7 quad core 3.4 and Ati 6970, recently the screen of the mac does not work properly. When I start the computer it s black but the Imac works perfectly(I have another screen plug in), but if I wait for a 2 minutes and the imac enter in Slept mode when I turn it on the screen works perfectly during hours, so I think is something like the mac must be warm to work properly....

Update: Screen was replaced but I still have the same issue!! @dasan is right. Something caused this to happen. Phones don’t break all by themselves. It technically can happen, but this would not be the result....

Chosen Solution Will a replacement case fix if wires are damaged or are they included with case? No a replacement case will not come with any wires. The black or blue wire is for the wifi antenna, the white wire is for the microphone. The ribbon cable is for the video. If the ribbon cable is broken you will need to purchase a new LCD, as the cable is permanently attached to them....

Chosen Solution My buds are not turning on and connecting. When I pull them out of the case, they show as fully charged, green, according to the indicator light. But as soon as I pull them out, it turns orange. The buds do not turn on and look as though they are completely discharged It looks like you may need a battery replacement. Unfortunately, this is a difficult repair. iFixit does not have a replacement guide for this model, but they have a teardown here and replacement batteries here....
