Chosen Solution This is going on for about a week now. My phone is charging but my battery is getting lower. If I leave the phone and don’t use it it will charge, but as soon as I unlock it the battery starts dropping (this only happens when its charging). How do I fix this? Chosen Solution i own a optiplex 760 usff , it succesfully connects to tv’s using dvi to hdmi, but not dvi to dvi for my monitor pls help Based on your responses in this thread, I suspect a DVI-I (male) to DVI-D(Female) may do the trick, the adapter itself is ~$3 online If your monitors support HDMI, maybe just keep the connection of DVI to HDMI. It’s shown on the teardown video right after the battery is taken out but I can’t seem to find the part or the proper name for it. There’s a better look at it in the teardown for the iPad Pro 11" First Gen.Unfortunately, I have not ever seen this part for sale, and based on the teardown, it seems like it’s probably not the easiest to get at if you’re looking to replace it....

Apple used different display interfaces between these series. The first used LVDS and the newer uses iDP so the connections at the logic board are different. In addition the FaceTime cameras are also different across the series as well....

Chosen Solution They just started working intermittently but only on the driver side, both front and rear doors. Tried removing battery cable for an hour, no change. Any thoughts? My daughter drives a 1996 Nissan 200SX and left the driver side window down during a rain shower one day. After that, she couldn’t roll the passenger window down using the master controls on the driver side. I replaced the master power window switch with a unit I pulled from a wrecked Nissan Sentra at the junk yard and that did the trick....
Chosen Solution Firstly, thank you to everyone that least looked at this. my iPhone 5s has weird symptoms that could be from a damaged battery or motherboard damage heres the problem, when the phone dies, plug it in displays Apple logo for few seconds than fades to just a lit black screen. IF I take the phone and put it into dfu mode and restore it through iTunes the phone will do its thing then bootup correctly no Apple logo disappearing but… when the phone dies it does the same with the logo, I’ve got a good feeling it’s the battery but decided to get an answer from people who know more than me...

I have it since 2 years and recently the battery was getting worse and worse, I also observed overheating at the back, bottom side. Yesterday my phone died and I was charging it for 8 hours - the only result was that it was stuck on the charging animation and it wouldn’t turn on (It seemed like the port was detecting the charger but it did not charge my phone)....
Chosen Solution I dismantled & cleaned everything. There was sticky flow residue running from left side of logic board from vent down to battery. Slight greenish corrosion on keyboard backlight terminal, but otherwise looked in decent shape. None of the moisture damage indicators have turned red on the logic board, but the battery PCB is bright red & won’t charge nor run from battery. She won’t boot from the SSD, but will boot from an external drive....

Chosen Solution I have an iPhone SE 2020 that is bootlooping when plugged into power. If you unplug the device, it shows no signs of life. I think it may be an issue with the battery not I am not certain. The battery has around 78% health last I checked but has been acting funky before that. It would come up with the 20%/10% battery notifications and you would clear it out and it would go up a percent or two and say it again....

I can understand the required time may be longer, but is it too long to be practical, e.g. more than 1-2 hours? You do NOT want to put your iopener is water. This will quite possibly ruin the materials inside. Also, you never want to dry heat it. I had a co-worker borrow mine and he heated it up beyond the recommended time and without a damp paper towel....

I’ve tried cleaning the jack and that has helped but I’m still thinking I may have to replace the jack. Do you know where I can order this? Hi Dave, you can replace the whole circuit board that the charging port is soldered on, or if you can solder you may be able to just replace or resolder the usb charging port connector onto the circuit board....

Worked out fine. I installed a 500gb drive because apple says it can only hold up to 500. Is it possible and safe to install a 640,750 or even 1tb drive in my Mac?...

There is no point repairing a HDD, just take it to the vendor and ask for warranty exchange.
