Chosen Solution I just replaced my iphone’s screen and connected everything right. When I try to boot up the phone the apple logo pops up for a bit disappears and repeats this. When I unplug the front camera flex cable the phone will boot, but touch id won’t work. I bent a corner of the home button’s lego connector, but it’s a very small one. I doubt the screen is the problem because the screens from this seller have always worked and have OEM IC’s....

Chosen Solution I am venturing into repairing and reselling iPhones as refurbished and need to get a better understanding of the ESN and SIM. Is the SIM card the GSM version of the ESN (CDMA) number? Can a GSM phone really be locked by the carrier if the SIM card can just simply be replaced with a new one? And is the ESN really the MEID number? When I activated my wife’s and my iPhones, the carrier asked for the MEID, not ESN....

Chosen Solution I’ve come to find out that pre-butterfly macbook keyboards have two types of hinges. I understand that the two types of keyboards have different hooks and thus the hinges are non-interchangable. But are the keycaps interchangable though? PS: Assuming all MacBook Air / Pro / Retina between 2011 and 2015 have the same two keyboard mechanisms. The black plastic cap part is the same across the 2011~2015 retina models....

Assuming you have an AT&T iPhone, you can always buy our transparent rear panel for only $30 and take the measurements yourself. I am interested, though, in knowing why you don’t already have a rear case of your own to take measurements off of? If you are making it for yourself, I would assume you already have the phone, and if you’re trying to mass produce them, I figure that buying an OEM panel would be a necessary cost....

Chosen Solution Replaced graphic board and motherboard and when it is turned on there is no chime and no screen. The 4 diagnostic led lights light up. The graphic card was replaced due to when you started the computer all it did was chime every 4 or 5 seconds and nothing showed up on the monitor. The motherboard was replaced cause I broke off a diode when removing the graphic card....

Chosen Solution Lenovo IdeaPad 330-15ARR today i discovered that a black wire on my laptop has been broken and is preventing me from connecting to the WiFi this is possible because my laptop is falling apart as the hinge broke and so did the thing covering it and the stuff around the screen unfortunately i cannot afford to repair or get a new laptop since they’re all expensive and is the same amount as what you’d pay for rent and now probably buggered so i guess this is it for me anyway I’ll leave you to decide what i need to do so sorry Update (10/24/2021) forgot to say i think this is my laptop but they all look similar which is confusing me a little bit Update (10/25/2021)...

Chosen Solution Where to buy new replacement blades Manny, any small engine retailer or repair shop can supply blades for your mower or if you wish to do so remove the blades take them to a big box store home depot, lowes, walmart,etc and match them up with replacement blade in store. Is it possible to do at all? What exactly is going on with the GPS? If it is a hardware fault then that may be a bit more difficult to repair. Chosen Solution My mom’s iMac internal HD drive failed. I had setup used TM in 2015 to backup her internal drive AND a 4TB external drive with all her media work on it. It worked well. 3 years later, Just came back for the holidays from sailing around the world and disaster: iMac no longer boots. Her external 4TB RAID-0 SSD array is no longer readable. I replaced Internal 3TB HD with new Toshiba 10TB 7600 rpm HD and rebuilt the Fusion drive with it....

Chosen Solution Anyone tried changing the processor of tge hp ProOne 400 G1? From the strip down video, the processor seems to be soldered down. Hi @firehousefly , Looking at the service manual it shows that it can be changed. Scroll to p.74 to view the CPU processors that can be used and then the necessary pre-requisite steps and the procedure to remove / replace the CPU. Hopefully this is of some help

Chosen Solution I have assumed that my car USB port has been broken for a while now but recently I tried charging my AirPods in the port and they charged perfectly fine. I used the same cord to try and charge my iPhone and it does not even show any sign that the phone is connected or charging. Chosen Solution Cleaned the phone with the ultrasonic bath. It came back, except touch doesn’t work. I’m new to microsoldering, so I’m unsure what’s wrong here. Is it touch ic? I can see a lot of burnt components below the touch IC, I’ve seen a few boards that had corrosion under the IC but since you gave it a ultrasonic bath I don’t think it’s that. Replace those components with hot air and some flux....

The There is no visible damage to the start capacitor. The fridge and freezer are warm, and the compressor doesn’t seem to turn on. This screen broke a few weeks ago after which I replaced it. Today I broke my screen again which made me wonder. I didn’t break the original screen for about 3.5 years. Chosen Solution I purchased a book and downloaded to my iTunes menu. The book appears in the library, and in audiobooks but will not sync to my iPod device. I have restored, reset original settings, started over, and still no sync. I can see the book in the library and in playlist/audiobooks so I know it downloaded. Sorry but it seems the first Gen iPods are not compatible as they don’t run OS4 Requires iPhone and iPod touch with iOS 4 or later....
