Chosen Solution While replacing the left thumbstick, I disconnected the battery cable from the connector (circled in photo). Unfortunately, I broke one of the contacts on the connector. I’ve searched for the connector, thinking I could desolder the broken one and replace it, but I can’t find a match. Chosen Solution I have an Altec Lansing wireless speaker. Can the charging port be fixed ? There’s no reason why you can’t. You just have to open up the case, find a suitable replacement port and then solder it in place. Look at Digikey.com to find comptable replacement ports. You may have to take some measurements with a digital caliper just to be certain. Why don’t you post a picture so the community can see what’s at stake here and we can give you more guidance....

Chosen Solution Computer unused for years. trying to being back to life but somethings are not good. So chime at start up and certain familiar snow leopard sounds as computer boots. Screen is black, no backlight, nothing. Reset pram etc. no effect. Any low cost recommendation for diagnosing problem. First hook it up to an external monitor to see if the GPU is generating a video signal.
Chosen Solution How can I open the computer to look inside where the problem lies? Before opening I would check the power adapter. Can you locate a second power adapter to try out? Or access to a second system (Asus X53E) to try your power adapter on? Is the connectors clean and not damaged (adapter & system)? If they are dirty unplug the adapter then with a cotton swab (Q-Tip) with some Isopropyl alcohol wipe the contacts....
Chosen Solution Hello i replaced a screen for my friend , and when i gave it to him it was working perfectly , i told him to check for mic , speaker , front and back cam , and he did that all infront of me and it was all fine after that he was gone for 10 minutes , and thencame back and told me that when he tried to enter the passcode , the phone showed that the passcode is incorrect i tried the screen and it was working fine , it didn’t press anything outside touch area and then to convince him i returned the old screen, it was also working fine and he could enter the passcode correctly but the glass was damaged , and the phone also showed that the passcode was incorrect i told him that he must have changed the code when he was gone , but he said he didn’t so what happened ?...
Chosen Solution Yesterday I put in a new LCD replacement for my iPhone 4s 32 gb. The screen works great and everything else works as well after reassembly.. HOWEVER. My battery started to drain very rapidly once I powered on the phone. The phone was also warmer then usual. It seems the battery only charges when plugged in and powered OFF! If it is on and plugged in, the battery will drain but at a slower pace....
Chosen Solution I Took my mid 2011 Mac bought in March 2012 to Apple Store at Village pointe Omaha at 4.30pm my case id 747399216 the genius connected it to a V7 17 inch monitor and told my logic board is dead! even though I told him it was working each time I booted with Pram reset by comm and + option + p +r he snubbed! HE simply connected a Mac air through the same Thunder bolt to via and say see this laptop display is picked up by the v7 monitor yours is blank because the display is dead....

There are for sure different parts for 4G/wifi versions, which is usually a good hint that something is different. Taking a look at them, it appears as though the 4G antenna may be sandwiched in the display assembly....
