Chosen Solution QUICK BACK STORY: Wife spilled water and went into the laptop from the backside. Did not shutoff immediately- shutoff approx 1min later with a flicker then turning off. She immediately tried using a hair drier to it for only a minute. She did put on charger thinking it would boot. This is when she got me and I immediately put the laptop in an A (Tent) and let sit for 48hrs- not attached to power source....

Boot your iMac with the “T” key pressed. After a while the screen should display a moving firewire symbol....

Chosen Solution mouse is acting erratically. even purchased new cordless mouse but it is doing same… Tammy, ensure mouse has good batteries, make sure mouse is compatible with your device and software and if the mouse came with drivers/software install it. Try uninstalling mouse and reinstalling.

Chosen Solution ive seen video tutorials on people opening up their iPhones and iPads and they unsolder the onboard storage chip and the new bigger DRAM chip that they put in they run it through a program that makes it register to the phone so it could work,but how many shops actually do this kind of work and is it illegal? Its level 3 board repair and requires a programmer. Yes there’s places that do it (myself included), and no its not illegal....

It is handy as it shows how to gain access to the speakers to see if they are not secured properly and it is the actual speaker assembly that is vibrating at high volume (when it shouldn’t) or if there is a loose connection etc....

Chosen Solution I replaced the screen in an iPhone 6S and the backlight fuse blew even though I disconnected the battery first and worked in an anti-static atmosphere. The glass on the original display was badly broken and the home button was flopping around in its place because a lot of the glass was gone around it. The customer wants to hold me responsible but honestly, I did nothing to incur the issue....

I changed on my iphone 4s a broken display with a new one . i was really careful with everything and i reinstalled every screw . the display itself works great only at the corners it gets blurry in purple color. you can just see it good if the background is dark (black) like on the black boot up with the apple logo. look at the pictures. thank you....

When you power up you get the apple symbol for a second but then you get a small folder icon in the middle of the screen with a ? mark in the middle of the folder icon….any ideas? Sounds like your computer can’t find the system that it want’s to startup … Try your Install dvd and restart holding down the option Key. you should abe able to see your harddrive’s operating system choose it and let it boot up completely....

Chosen Solution I bought the the 2ds xl about two months back and it has worked perfectly. But when trying to play it recently both screen are completly black. It is clearly on because the light indicating that is powered on is lit. It has never been dropped or anything like that. Just out of the blue both screens stopped working. Chosen Solution My magic mouse’s left click has suddenly become very difficult to click. It no longer makes the click sound, and the resistance when pushed has gone out. If I open this thing up, what do I look for to fix it? From what you are describing, I think that the silver spring seen in this picture may be the culprit. Chosen Solution just it, im wondering if ram memory can be upgraded…cause today 4gb may be enough…but i cant say that next year it will. No, I am afraid not. The 4GB in the system is currently integrated into the board to save space and there are no available slots to connect more RAM. Chosen Solution Can I use my heat gun to remove the battery? I accidently broke the left adhesive tab on the battery but the right came out fine. If so where do I apply heat? Note: I do not have the magical iOpener Just take extra precaution while performing it. I would put it on a mid-low setting, because those heat guns are pretty strong. If you want to be super cautious, which should be the case because it’s a battery, keep untreated sand available in the event something happens during the process (pops, vents, etc)....

Chosen Solution I need to fix an iphone 7 but the iphone 8 waterproof seals are cheaper. Between the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8, some adhesive parts aren’t compatible such as the battery adhesive tabs, however the waterproofing screen seal should be the same and you won’t have any problems using the iPhone 8 seal on an iPhone 7.

Chosen Solution I have a wifi only ipad2 and I wanted to know if you can install the replacement GPS antenna in it? I will be replacing the wifi antenna and thought I could do both. This is true for all iPads; only the cellular versions have GPS support....
