I ordered the adaptor and since I am opening it up I wanted to know if the ram is soldered on as well. I cannot seem to find a concrete answer on this because it always leads me to the 2017 WITH touchbar. I know that on the touchbar model everything is soldered on, does anyone know for sure if the ram is soldered on for the NON touchbar 2017 model?...

Chosen Solution I recently got a customer phone where they wanted to change the power button on a Iphone 6 due to it not working or clicking anymore. I removed the screen, motherboard and battery without a mistake, replaced the button (after cleaning the case hole with isopropyl on a brush) and it was clicking nicely. I screwed the phone together and everything appears to work. Except when I test the front camera it freezes and the earpiece is completely silent (music speaker works fine)....

Possible faulty door switch. (switch located in rubber boot in door frame, every door). I purchased the kit from iFixit and it all worked great - so well in fact that I decided to do it on ANOTHER old 4s I had laying around. In this second phone, there was NO battery ground clip as there was in the first re-install. Obviously someone else has been inside this phone before....
Chosen Solution My iPhone X wasn’t charging, so I assumed the battery was dead and replaced it. After installing the battery, I realised that it did not fix the issue. The phone did bot up as normal after some time on the charger, but it continuously showed the battery to be empty. I then uninstalled the battery altogether and tried booting up the iPhone on the charger alone. It again booted up after a short period of time and showed an empty battery....

It is still functional so touchscreen is working normally. Can anyone explain what this is and where it is coming from? Those look like pressure points, most likely being applied to the back of the screen....

Chosen Solution the bottom screws to open my 6S are completely stripped and I have tried multiple methods to fix this. I have tried rubberband bigger bit superglue and use a flathead. None work. Please help You could try drilling them out if you have tried everything else. There has been a few times over the years when I have forgotten to remove the pentalobe screws. The brackets on the screen break off at the base and I just glued them back on when reinstalling the screen....

You need to remove the agitator by which is held on the shaft by a bolt under the top cap. Furthermore you need to remove the agitator cogs etc. Once all that is done, remove the agitator and you will find a spanner nut that needs to be removed....
