Chosen Solution Hi I recently played a tape, but deck started making a loud clicking noise I had never heard before. I was concerned so I stopped tape and reinserted, but then it made another weird noise like it was starting up, but couldn’t and then it didn’t play the tape. I never had this problem before with the deck so I believe it’s the tape itself that caused deck to stop working....
Chosen Solution Can I use a small cheap LCD separator/heater for iPhone to replace LCD matrix on my 13’’ MacBook Air? Update (08/30/2019) Looks like heat is not necessary at all to remove the bezel. It could be done with a cheap razor blade. But be careful with the camera cable in the left-bottom corner. The display did not get a single scratch after the removal of the bezel. Keep going… Maybe the display matrix could be removed similarly....
Chosen Solution I separated the digitizer from the top glass and was in the process of removing the LOCA. There i noticed a film underneath the adhesive just above the digitizer/LCD assembly. I recall seeing a video somewhere on YouTube, a tech removed this film but did not give any information to what it was. Now i come to you guys to help give insight to what this film is for....

One day I had the 3.5mm output plugged into a synthesizer to filter and mod the sound and some how some DC voltage leaked back into the mac and ever since then the port works, its just super noisy/distorted Whats even weirder is that the I get weird grounding noises/issues when I hook the mac DVI up to an external monitor....

Chosen Solution I have a 55” panasonic viera flat screen and it will turn on and stay on for about 4 minutes and then turns off and blinks red 11 times, pauses (no blinking, no light,) for about a second or two, and then flashes red 11 times again then pauses and repeats that cycle until i unplug or reset tv with the power button. Everytime i reset or unplug and replug tv, the tv will come on for about 4 minutes again until it $@$** off on its own and does the 11 red blinks....

Chosen Solution I have sibling who spilt coke on my controller everything else works except b button is stuck how can i clean it the easiest . two options. the best of them is to open it up, and clean it out by disassembling it, then scrubbing it with a 99% isopropyl, and a toothbrush. the other option is to spray it with a deoxidizing electronics cleaner, and let it soak, then scrub the button with the same isopropyl stated above....
Chosen Solution Now have 12v dc inverted to 120v ac circuit in an rv just for the tv (one dc/ac circuit). The inverter is bad. Is it possible to run a Toshiba flat screen tv directly on 12v dc ? It may be possible by hacking into the power board but this will depend on what model TV you have....
Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 4 16gb (Model A1332). looking at the ROI in swapping the logicboard if compatible. I’m assuming ROI is Return on Investment. I don’t see why the boards wouldn’t be swappable. No distinction is made in the repair manual on ifixit.com, so I would assume that there would be no problem. Just make sure you’re swapping the correct Carrier’s parts. A Verizon board would probably not fit into an AT&T phone, as there were some changes made between the two models....
Chosen Solution Hi, I think MBA 13 is a perfect laptop in almost every way. It is fast enough, light enough, with enough time port and great keyboard for almost 80% of tasks. However, Apple intentionally has not updated the screen to sell their crappier more expensive MacBook. So, question is, could one take a screen off MacBook Pro 13 2015 Retina display and put it on MBA 13? They have the same aspect ratio and size and technically it should be possible but I’m sure Apple doesn’t make it easy....

I need to open the hard drive to be able to clean this mess up but the hard drive icon and external flash drive icons will not appear on the desktop even with a Safe Mode startup.
