Chosen Solution Around April I bought a battery replacement kit from ifixit for my Samsung galaxy s7 edge. Over the past few days I’ve noticed my phone shutting down at 30%, with no shut down animation or anything, I’ll connect it to the charger then pressing the power button will reveal that it is now supposedly at 0%(battery with lightning icon) Additionally, the battery is slightly swelling, just enough that the back glass is coming off and I can’t stick it back....

Chosen Solution Hi, I finally after almost 7 years decided to change thermal paste in my mac, because the fans were loud all the time. It is late 2013 model with i7 and gtx 780m. On the CPU and GPU was classic thermal paste, but on the vram chips was white thermal paste. I really dont know if I should use thermal pads for the vram chips or thermal paste. I found different opinions on the internet and I am totally lost :( Should I use thermal pads or thermal paste?...

Chosen Solution Any way I can get my controler’’s center pad to go back to normal. It is stuck down and therefor I can not play my games. You can try and disassemble your controller using the guide below and try and render the touch pad functional again. Chosen Solution Following an SSD upgrade using an OWC upgrade kit and thermal cable my iMac’s display no longer powers on. On power up I get a happy start up chime followed by a steady increase in fan volume with only my external monitor turning on. When I run the apple hardware test I get error/fault 4sn/1/c0000008:TL0p–124. Any ideas what I may have inadvertently broken or misconnected? Is whatever I most likely did easy to repair/replace?...

Chosen Solution Whenever I switched on the ceiling LED light the radio broadcast became fuzzy with static interference but not so when switched off the light. And this only happened with that one particular light but not with other similar lights in the house . I tried to disconnect the earth wire but it didn’t help. I also tried replacing it with another unit of similar type but problem persisted....

Chosen Solution Working through an ssd upgrade and the wires popped out of the connector that I believe is the power button connection on the logic board. Wires are still in good shape, just need to replace the connector but having trouble finding it. Could also hard wire the wires back to the board, but not sure of polarity. Is there a way to test? I know the power putton is just a small voltage switch that triggers a relay....

Chosen Solution I want to fit a second drive but I only have one socket on the motherboard Hi, Here is a link to the Owner’s manual for your desktop. Scroll down to p.103-104, it shows that there are 5 sata ports on the motherboard. (#3 + #6 on the motherboard layout) If you want to fit a 2nd HDD there are at least 3 spare ports available for you to use, if your current arrangement is only 1xHDD + 1xODD, unless you have more sata connected devices installed....

Chosen Solution I have once already replaced my SE with a 5s screen as I could not find any difference in the screen last time I replaced my phone screen. I had to replace my screen again, when I as at the store AT&T to get a replacement screen immediately. The guy said there are glitches in the screen if you replace an iPhone se with a 5s screen. Chosen Solution This sounds stupid to ask but I just wanted to make sure but I just wanted to make sure. I wanted to transfer my battery and screen from an iPhone XS max that 64gb that’s IC locked (battery and frame are good) to a XS max that is 25gb version that isn’t ic locked but the screen has a green line on it and the battery is bad. Chosen Solution I was messing around in Developer Options and I clicked on Emulate Displays and my screen got copied a million times. It will not let me click on anything, and I have a computer if that helps. Turns out you can resize the emulated screen, and I resized it to the smallest I can and was able to get back to Developer Options and get rid of it. :)...

Chosen Solution changed fuel pump on my 04 santa fe, won’t start, how do I bleed the air? There should be a schrader valve on the fuel rail . Find this then cycle the key and listen for the pump dont engage the starter just turn the key to the run position . once you’ve heard the pump run and shut off then go to the shrader valve and release the pressure on the rail ....

Chosen Solution Is Verizon support missing in hardware or is it just turned off or not enabled for Verizon? There are 2 models, D820 and D821. It is D820 in the Ifixit teardown and it supports CDMA.

Chosen Solution I have a tb6600 4axis controller that isn’t working . I bought off of ebay and wired everything up and I get no movement from stepper motors . (sound is functional) I can see the desktop if I shine a flashlight through the back of the Apple cutaway.
