Chosen Solution I can hear people taking but they can’t hear my voice unless I put it on speaker Most likely either the bottom microphone hole is clogged and needs to be cleaned out or the charging port dock ribbon cable assembly needs to be replaced. That has the microphone together with it. I agree with @benjamen50. The reason callers can hear you on speaker phone is because the microphone that is located on the front facing camera cable is active....

Chosen Solution I have two 2nd generation Mini 4GB iPods, which I am trying to get working in order to sell on EBay. ITunes says the software is corrupted, but when I try to restore them I get error message 1429. Any suggestions as to what might work? try to use different usb port or first remove any other USB Device that you have connected to the computer (don’t remove usb keyboard or usb mouse )....

Boots normally when connected to wall power.Shows Apple logo for 10 seconds, then turns off, when connected to computer for power/sync.Battery does not work; must be connected to wall power.Wifi, Bluetooth, Cell Network do not work due to water damage. So, I’m having a very hard time finding a way to get my data off this phone....

Chosen Solution I Have the same problem, only I have a 13.5 B&S , I have cleaned the gas tank line and filter Your carb can still be dirty . there are small holes in the carb that ethanol gas can clog . if you take the float bowl off you’ll know right away if you need to clean the carb. If the inside is as green as the lawnmower in the picture on the right you’ll know that ethanol has left you high and dry

Chosen Solution First, my dryer only heats on normal mode. Then the timer gets stuck at 7 minutes left. And, if I do not check the clothes regularly, the clothes get too hot. Why is this happening. Obviously the timer is malfunctioning. Replace it. What @mayer is saying is true, it is likely the timer. First, I would run the diagnostic. Use the first page in this manual to run the diagnostics....

Chosen Solution I spilled a small amount of coffee on the delete button (top right) section of my keyboard. Immediately dried it, turn it off, and stood it on that end down for 4 hrs. At first the delete key failed to work, now the some arrow keys are funky, and it will start acting like the delete key is held down. Any advice to fix this? Chosen Solution Replaced a screen on a 7 today. During the process, I accidentally broke the small black cable that has the pins that touch the ear speaker on. The rest of the front camera flex is fine, just that section is physically broken. Now, the phone is going into boot loop. It’s showing the Apple logo and the home button is responsive, but is just loading over and over. Thanks in advance....

Chosen Solution Is there any X555QG documentation on where the screws should be placed? I lost track and now I’m scared of breaking something inside. I have 4x 9mm and 6x 11mm. Hi @banesrb , I couldn’t find any information regarding the locations of the screws in the laptop but here’s a list of all the screws that are used. There are no 11mm screws in the parts list so presumably they are the M2*12L (12mm) screws....

Chosen Solution So i was careless and spilled not a decent amount but not a small amount of liquid and it got into the back of my Macbook Pro so right away i followed ifixits guide and opened the bottom to clean whatever damage was there, after letting it sit i turn it on and it boots up and literally everything works normal and when i shine a bright light up to the screen i can see it displaying normally theres just no backlight (hooking it up to external display shows everything just fine) and when i go to use facetime it says “no camera connected” anyone with knowledge of this can help me?...

Chosen Solution tried reset button , power and volume together nothing works checked power level with volt meter nothing working richc19 this could be a power issue. Right now you have nothing happening so you need to start somewhere. Get a new battery and replace the one in your panel. Then you have a known-well starting point should further troubleshooting become necessary. There are no schematics etc. for your tablet, so you will depend on your skills should this be a larger problem than the battery....

Chosen Solution so my iphone 5s’s bottom microphone is not working, so i replaced the the whole charging port turns out, there is nothing wrong with neither old or new charging port’s microphone, so what gives? voice memo and people not being able to hear me on call, the rest of the other microphone is working (eg: the back and front camera’s mic) That leaves us with the J7 dock connector where you have the pins connecting microphone to the logic board, and from there on the a few components and the Audio IC....

Chosen Solution Here’s a strange one. The kid broke her screen for the 5th time, but this time she seems to have killed something a screen replacement didn’t help. When making a CELL call neither party can hear the other. There’s just dead air. If I flex the phone slightly I can get static and sometimes even hear the call as normal. Eventually it dies again. The mic and both speakers are fine....
