The orange light switched between all of the settings without me turning the dial, and eventually became stuck on the indoor setting. Can the camera be fixed? Chosen Solution Hi, The phone is water resistant, not waterproof but you may be lucky. As you know water and electronics and electricity are not a good mix. The impurities in the water causes corrosion and provides circuit paths for the electricity which were not in the phone’s operating design and could damage the components. First do not turn on your phone and then you need to remove the battery as soon as possible from the phone to minimize any further damage....
Chosen Solution I have an interest in Putting the Retina screen on my MBP 2011 early. I have a way to get a RETINA screen. I am just wondering if they are Compatible Don’t think so - the bus and GPU speeds are quite slower, you’re looking at approximately 6yr jump in video technology development between the two. I understand the Retina panel also uses more current than the non-Retina panels....
Chosen Solution Everything is working on my Magic Mouse but the laser sensor, itself. I can gesture, scroll, right click, double-click to select a word. BUT the laser no longer comes on, so I can’t move the pointer. Can I replace the laser? I’ve never seen this part fail. I would suspect a failed solder joint. Of course if it is less than a year old, get a warranty replacement from Apple....

Chosen Solution I broke my screen a while back. the phone still worked but the broken glass was dangerous. I ordered a new screen and tried to fix it myself but it did not work and I broke the screen completely. When I turn the phone on there is just a bright white light. The volume button works, and there is some tactile feedback but the calibration must have gone all wrong because there’s only a response when I tap the bottom of the screen (where there should be no buttons)....

I’ll be using iFixit’s guide, but I wonder if it will be more practical to use an iOpener to soften the adhesive and iSclack to pop it open, instead of using the recommended heat gun and prying picks. Thanks. I have successfully used the iOpener to open an iPod touch, and it worked well. I guess an iSclack could technically be used to open an iPod, but I personally would not use it because of the adhesive....

I took the MTSN number from 3utools and pasted in icopy software, it writes the info and says it succeeded. But still no trutone?. Also in 3utools the new info does not show up and says “ user decision needed” ?...
Chosen Solution The project started with replacing the battery because it had swelled and pushed the screen away from the frame. I damaged the screen in attempting to remove and replace the glue. So, a full screen replacement followed. I now have a nearly fully functioning phone with blemish free screen and back glass. The phone will not charge properly to calibrate the battery. I have a good Samsung adaptive charger (3) and a good cable....
Chosen Solution Normal routine charging port replacement.. reconnecting original battery after charging port replaced now the there is no signs that the iphone will turn on.. i connected to itunes and it says the iphone is turned on.. i can put the phone into DFU mode and it shows on itunes but still no picture on screen Did you disconnect the battery before changing the charge port? You may have damaged the backlight circuit on the logic board when you removed and re-installed the screen assembly....

Chosen Solution I dropped my phone a couple weeks ago and it must have hit a couple pebbles when it landed because it cracked in about 3 places on my screen. Now the bottom half of my screen flashes randomly and sometimes I have trouble getting the screen to wake up at all. It just stays black. I can still use the screen even while it is black to shut down my phone and then turn it back on and it will work again....
Chosen Solution Does anyone know if there’s a difference between the battery and back battery cover between the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge and the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus? Are these parts basically interchangable or are they specific for each model? All different. Nethier parts are cross compatible. Just look at the teardowns. Hope this helps!

After a bit of trying, I noticed that one part of the battery was glued pretty strongly to the body, and that the battery was bending slightly. From what I could tell, it felt like the inside of the battery had several smaller battery compartments....

Chosen Solution The laptop (mid 2012 pro retina) made a loud ‘cracking’ noise one day, and the hinge on the left side broke, disconnecting the screen from the body. Anyway, the screen is generally black, but if you tinker the exact positioning of the screen it will turn on, though sometimes flicker like a 90s television set. It was like this for a couple weeks, and I didn’t have a chance to repair it, but alas, now I can’t get it to flicker on at all....
Chosen Solution My phone fell on the floor, and it probably hit a sharp object because now theres a small tiny circular crack at the edge near the bottom. The middle of the screen stopped responding to my touch, but the top and bottom were still working. The screen has no developed a black spot near the crack, and the middle of the screen is working again. I don’t really mind staying with this black spot as its really tiny and at the edge of the screen, but how fast will it spread and will it be bad for my phone to stay a while with it like this until i get the funds to fix it....
