Chosen Solution The two usb2 ports in the side of my MacBook Pro 15" have become “sloppy” and do not always read devices (flash drives and some other accessories). Its becoming more annoying! A simple solution seems to be to replace the internals of the sockets… Can they be replaced? If so, how? Thanks! Sadly this is not an easy fix. The best solution is to visit an Apple Store and letting them replace the logic board for you (cheapest solution)....

Chosen Solution The computer will not turn on at all. I do not know if some wires have short circulated or if there is a problem with the power source. Can someone give me tips about diagnostic procedures? Start with the a static discharge and work from there . Unplug the computer and hold the power button down for 60 seconds. then plug in the computer and try it .If this brings no joy try removing the ram and trying it with 1 stick at a time ....

Chosen Solution I’ve had both and iPhone 5 and iPhone 6 Plus that the battery went bad and would not hold a charge long anymore after many attempts at draining it and resetting the battery. I have used a ZeroLemon 10ft cable on both and another after market care charger with a charging block because my Jeep has and actual plugin. Can these aftermarket cables ruin the battery life? I don’t see how they are just cables....

Chosen Solution Can superglue be used instead of soldering, and would it be safe? Is superglue a good conductor or is there any alternitive to soldering that can be used to fix a usb charger port connecter thats snapped off the board. would it be safe! As others have said super glue is not conductive. You can buy conductive adhesive which is used when normal soldering is not practical. It can come in numerous styles (in a syringe, tube, or other type container)....

Chosen Solution I tried updating the software on my iPad and I got an image-message for me to connect to iTunes. I plugged the iPad into my MacBook Pro and I get a message that says “Contacting the iPad software update server…” But it never connects! I can’t get any further. I’ve been trying for days. Chosen Solution I have a OontZ Angle 3 the charging port is broken where do I go to replace it and can I replace it myself Hi @royalsmoker69 , If the charging port is loose or broken, you’ll need SMD (surface mounted device) soldering skills and tools to effect the repair, as the micro USB connector is mounted directly onto the motherboard. Chosen Solution Hey, any help is appreciated. I have attempted many times to fix this. I defrosted it many times, let it st unplugged for 24 hours a few times and even changed out the thermistor and that didn’t work. My next attempt (if you think that may be it) is to change out the Refrigerator Freezer Defrost Heater & Thermostat. I think that may be it but would like some thoughts on that idea before dong so since it is $50....

Chosen Solution hi, i have an asrock z77 extreme4 motherboard but has a broken capacitor near the VRM modules. is it safe/recommended to replace this with a higher capacitance capacitor. i have attached pictures below. No. A High Capacitance Capacitor will not work. And you said resistor which will DEFINETLY not work. With Capacitors, you can normally go with a high voltage, although it might be larger, but not a higher capacitance....

Chosen Solution So I’m attempting to mod my first ever Nerf Gun. I decided to go with something relatively cheap; the Firestrike Elite. However, before even getting to the inside of the gun, I’ve encountered a problem. The screw located under the top rails to the back will not move. So I look it up, wondering what it could be, and everything points to the backlight, either it is burned out, or something is wrong with the power supply board giving power to the backlight. Chosen Solution My computed had a liquid damaged and I took it immediately to a repair shop and they cleaned the motherboard and it didn’t had any rust or liquid damage. But now the backlight only works when the lid is open at less than 45 degrees. If i fully open the screen the backlight turns off. Well you’ll need to replace the display assembly. Sadly because you had liquid damage Apple won’t service this system....

Chosen Solution Hi everybody, I have serious issues with the backlighting after I followed the instructions to replace the internal hard disk by an SSD drive - everything else works fine and I have no other issues. Can anybody tell me please what could have gone wrong and if I could fix that myself? Those are the major issues: Clouding in the lower part of the screen - many bright spotlights with darker spots in between Brightness will not increase if setting the brightness bar higher than 7 dots Screen goes sometimes completely black....

Chosen Solution Does the iPhone 6 battery fit the iPhone 5C Sorry, no. The iPhone 5c and iPhone 6 batteries are different in size, capacity and the plug connector is also different . Chosen Solution My acer predator laptop all of a sudden stopped charging, one night it was charging just fine and the next day it just stopped, it wasnt moved from its spot or dropped or damaged in anyway, just stopped charging I will suggest checking the charging cable first, if there is a charging light indicating on your laptop and still doesn’t get charged then under the laptop you will find a small battery reset buttonhole, using any pin you can reset the battery....
