Chosen Solution I replaced my MBP’s battery. It boots, but turns back off after anywhere between 1 and 10 seconds of usage, while connected to charge. I got the battery from iFixit and followed the installation guide without any obvious errors. What am I doing wrong? Chosen Solution 2018 MBPro A1989 - the bottom of the case is warped but my battery seems good. Holds a charge and MBP functions normally. I would use the MacBook until the battery is dead, and then open it up and replace the battery. It is very likely that the battery is swollen, and if it is, it shouldn’t be used....

Chosen Solution Just as someone else i did it wrong and broke the connector on the board which is for for the battery. Does anyone knows whats the best solution You can try to re-solder the battery connector to the logic board, but if that does not fix the problem, then you will have to replace the logic board.

Chosen Solution Phone will not unlock, there is no password, it just will not slide to unlock. it wasn’t dropped, wet or anything else. My settings are supposed to come up even when screen is locked but that isn’t working either. Sounds like a faulty digitizer. Is it responding to your touch at all? I had read to buy replacement caps that are 1000uF 16V so that’s what I bought. Any advice as to what to do? I’m confused.
