Chosen Solution First off, I’m an idiot. I pulled up on the keyboard retaining flap, rather than just flipping it up, and it broke. Now, my MacBook 2.4 unibody won’t boot. I suspect, because the logic board isn’t getting any input from the keyboard. Is there a way to get a replacement retaining flap? Does someone know a way to power on a MacBook from USB or something? The thing to consider is the layout of the motherboard from different carriers can vary. Chosen Solution Hello all, I opened up my MacBook to adjust the trackpad (the click was too stiff). I lifted up the battery and kept it plugged into the logic board, I moved the battery out of the way, and it was resting over the headphone jack portion of the logic board. I reassembled my laptop and plugged it back in, everything seemed fine.. Except when I plugged in my headset and noticed that the output device was “Digital Out” whenever I tried plugging it in....

Chosen Solution Iphone 5s battery drains while charging, even after replacing, charger, battery and charging system. please help. I would reset it to eliminate software issues. If it continues and you have swapped everything else out you are looking at U2 Damage. U2 Damage is a board level issue caused by cheap non apple or non MFI-Certified Chargers.
Chosen Solution Hi, I swapped the original battery in my 2014 MacBook Pro with a new one from iFixit. I worked fine for a few months and then all of a sudden it started draining extremely quickly (like 100% to 5% in ten minutes). When it gets to 5% remaining it stops there for a few hours with very light usage. If the monitor enters sleep mode it doesn’t wake up if you don’t plug the charger in (even after 10 minutes since the last charge)....

What is a safe way to remove this battery or can i just heat up the back and remove the glass or is this dangerous with the battery. How can i safely remove the battery? If you use a little 99% ISO rubbing alcohol you can use something like an eye dropper or pipette to disperse it under the battery just don’t use too much as there is a whole under the battery that goes right to the display....
