Chosen Solution Having this issue for sometime. Didn’t really bother me, but wishes to find out whats the actual cause. That looks like a defective/damaged display. You can replace it yourself by following this guide.
Chosen Solution I have an a1181 core 2 duo macbook from either 2006 or 2007. the macbook powers on i hear the chime noise I hear the dvd noise but there’s no light on the front showing the display is on and the screen stays black. I’ve held a flash light behind the apple symbol, and I see nothing on the screen, so I know it’s not a backlight issue. Chosen Solution Unit will work for days fine then at power up doesn’t boot to hard drive but to question mark. I have reselected start up disc. If I boot holding shift key I can get it to boot to hard drive ok.then will work for a week or two then same. Now first time locked up while unit on and had to force shutdown. Chosen Solution how do I replace the broken microsSD slot? thelacys, If port is found to be bad/loose/damaged , this is really not a repair for the inexperienced because the charge port for your device is soldered to the mother board and the heat generated could cause further damage if not very careful. I will post a couple links to a tear down guide to get you inside the tablet to check the charge port and will also post a link showing what is involved in repairing a mini USB attached to the board....
Chosen Solution My Wii toppled and while it would restart, it wouldn’t read any disks. I used the procedure elsewhere in this site to disassemble the unit down to the drive, but I don’t see any obvious problems. I’m assuming the drive itself is the problem (duh!). I’ve seen parts from drives for sale so I assume someone’s taken it further than I have, but I am at a loss to figure out how to diagnose and fix the problem at the stage I’m at....
Chosen Solution The tablet part got sat on..and cracked the screen, only the bottom half of touch screen works, to go into camera and that’s it…is there a place I can send it to be repaired? taylormaid27 we try not to make referral on here since those are based on personal preferences. You can of course use your favorite search engine and try to find someone in your geographicla area. Best way would of course be doing it yourself....
Chosen Solution so i shattered the phone itself, went to retrieve sd card and the card snaps in two…still leaving the bottom half of sd card in sd slot!! can my stuff be salvaged…if so how? @crystalshavon , Crystal, If the SD card memory chip(s) are broken your best chance, if there is any is to visit an expert. Contact the SD card manufacturers support and ask for a recommended specialist as they may have one they can suggest....
Chosen Solution No other functions work. Lights do not come on. Works fine with delicate only. Hi, we took the top cover off. There are 3 screws in back of top, real easy. Inside was a ribbon cable that plugged into a device in the back as well as other connectors. We unplugged and reconnected them and it worked. We think they either come loose because of vibration or just need to be reseated once in awhile but everything worked after that....

Chosen Solution My iphone5 started to have a faulty charger port that would charge only when the cable was inserted at a certain angle. I changed the charging port making sure everything fit how it should have and all. I used a replacement part bought on amazon. Now the charging port functions correctly, but my home button no longer works, AND siri/voice control will spasm out at times and intensively open itself at will multiple times in a row, completely randomly....

Chosen Solution My Samsung led TV has a backlight issue. In a dark room I can see the screen images only with a flashlight. Can also see faint flashes of light on the screen near the edges. Chosen Solution Hi guys I have an iPhone 6s in repair from a fall in the water, I made ultrasonic cleaning and has broken down but the backlight sometimes disappears and if you spot a flashlight you see, the touch is working without backlighting. I tried another screen the same thing, I noticed that it warms up near the processor! Can the filters be? Update (10/17/2018) There are probably shorted filters, capacitors used to power the left / right hand side of the screen’s backlight circuits....

The battery status indicator on the side of the laptop has one of the status lights lit, the one that is normally lit at 40% charge or above. Chosen Solution My friends Bosch dishwasher model Model Number: SHE68M05UC/50 has no power. We checked the power source with a voltmeter and it said 120. Then we follow it up and checked the on and off switch that was ok then we checked the door lock switch and that seemed ok. Then all of a sudden it had power so we unplugged it from the extension cord hooked everything back up and plugged it back in and now there is no power again....
