Chosen Solution Hi, my phone’s vibration motor is rusty around the 2 wires and vibrates continuously as soon as the phone is plugged. I am wondering if I could simply remove it? Does the phone work without the vibration motor, may I simply cut both wires? The phone is a Oneplus X. thanks If there are only two wires connecting the motor an now PCB board on the motor, then it should work....
Chosen Solution The orange plastic tab in the USB (very similar to USB but is slightly larger on one side of the part) charging port seems to be pushed back and the charging cable cannot make an electrical connection. Chosen Solution My problem is quite similar to this thread: Stuck on grey screen after boot, Disk Utility says HD is OK however even using Disk Utility to try to start up, I get nowhere. Ditto re start up using my wifi network - I get about 5% along the progress bar, and then I get stuck. But according to Disk Utility, there’s nothing wrong with my hard drive. Prior to trying Disk Utility, with holding shift or shift+V or whatever, about 25% along the progress bar, and then that bar disappears....
Chosen Solution I can’t get my cracked screen to even budge with the suction cup. Any new tips. The iPhone 6S screen is not only held in place by the bottom pentalobe screws and side retaining clips but there is also a layer of adhesive as well. Did you follow the guide? You have to apply suction and pry the screen up at the same time. You can use the plastic tools or an iSesamo like tool (just be careful not to damaged the housing)....

I investigated and found the centre speaker was outputting very quiet. i turned up the volume, and the only noise coming from it was like a crackle (like a blown speaker). I have changed the speaker, and also tested the centre speaker on other outputs, and deduced that it is the output from the amp, not any ancillary ....
Chosen Solution My macbook was out of battery so i went to charge it. My charger blew (popped, bang, adapter broke up) so I replaced it with a brand new 85w magsafe charger. The charger cable connection light wont come on to indicating its charging BUT the laptop screen still comes up with the empty battery/needs charging graphic suggesting the laptop is still ok. I’ve opened it up and I can’t see anything black or blown up....
Chosen Solution I acquired a used Sony PSP 3000 with the piano black paint. I went ahead and replaced the face plate on my own which was dirty and gross. However, the back plate has spots of chipped paint on it. Is there a way that I can paint this fix it myself? I could buy a new battery door but that just leaves the other side still chipped. Chosen Solution Plan to exchange original HD for 2TB one. When at it, noticed quite some dust in/on fans and other places. Once read (do not remember where) that it is unwise to vacuumclean the innards. Why? I have ESD-safe brushes and other gear, will mechanically block the fans (so they cannot act as windmill generator) and use the VC on its lowest powersetting and will maintain at least a 10 cm or 4 inch distance between hose-intake and innards....

Chosen Solution The screen looks mostly normal but maybe 1/5 of the screen is white with lines flickering through. I don’t know if the digitizer just needs to be replaced or what. Digitizer is the touch screen of the iPad and is part of the glass. Sometimes reseating, cleaning the LCD cable might fix the issue. I think 4th gen LCD requires replacing as it is most likely damaged and LCD cable isn’t replaceable as it’s ribbon cable....

I managed to turn on my mac but for some reason the fans are not spinning even if it heats like crazy! For the reccord, the only thing I destroyed was the keyboard ribbon, i will attach a picture. Chosen Solution MacBook Pro 2012 13" non-retina. OS sierra (newest version) When studio monitors are hooked up via USB the audio go’s staticky and cuts in and out. Then it will be ok for a minute then same thing over again. I tested the speakers on another computer and they work fine. It’s only with my MacBook Pro I also tried a different USB port and same problem. Do you have anything else hooked up via USB?...
Chosen Solution I’ve had a Nexus 7 Gen 2 for a couple years now, and recently, the screen has stopped rotating in response to device orientation. Restarting the device used to fix the issue temporarily, but now even that doesn’t always work. This also affects tilt functions in various games. Check My Android reads 0 on the tilt sensors when the device gets stuck. I use Rotation to manually shift the screen, but this problem occurs with or without the app installed....

Chosen Solution Hi I had an issue with my iPhone a few weeks ago which happened while I was texting with my iPhone then suddenly the device overheated from one particular spot which was from the backside of the phone under the camera’s lens within half an inch to be specific. I noticed that the battery percentage is dropping down fast so I immediately turned the phone off, the phone kept heating while it’s turned off I placed it under the AC to cool it down then I tried to switch it on and the phone has drained all the battery, I charged my phone then I turned it on again and it worked normally for a few seconds and after that, it overheated again and the same thing happened to the battery as it drained out rapidly but this time it never turned back on....

Thanks Not the battery, not the charger… its the charging port! Apparently there is a slight difference in the diameter of that cheezy, tiny tip. The port hole is too large for most charging tips, doesn’t matter if you get the charger from Moto or 3rd party....
