When I plugged it in, the yellow charging light blinked, and it did not power on (occasionally an attempt to power it on would result in the blue light turning on for a split second, but most attempts to turn it on resulted in nothing). I cleaned the battery compartment with 91% isopropyl alcohol. I tested the battery and it seemed to be working....
Chosen Solution My grandma handed me her Polaroid sun 600 LMS and I ordered film for it. It seemed to work fine for the first couple of days. Then I took it out with a friend for a day and after coming back it doesn’t seem like it has any power anymore. I had only gone through half of the film when this problem started. Idk if the heat of the day drained the battery or affected it somehow....
Chosen Solution i currently use an iphone 6s plus, and the back camera (not the one on the screen) is doing a weird vibration motion when it’s being used in any app. imagine you have like an electric toothbrush and you put it near your phone and record a video, that’s what it’s doing to my iphone, but without the toothbrush. i don’t hear anything, and if i look at the lens it’s not doing anything physically that i can see....

Thanks. Yes, If they are both S6 edges and both are from the same provider (for example both are at&t) then it will work fine. If for example one is AT&T but the other is Sprint, they should still work but your network and other things with the network might be messed up....

Chosen Solution The outer part of the screen is intact but the inside is cracked. Also before this happened my screen used to flicker and when I need to reinstall windows I can’t see what I am doing. Faian Jamil, if your LCD is cracked I believe that you will definely have to replace it. As for the issues that you had prior to this, it could be a bad inverter a bad backlight and/or bad cable....
Chosen Solution I bought replacement cartridges from LG and my HP printer won’t recognize them. Can I force the printer to use non-HP cartridges? Ah… If it where so simple ;-} Sadly, each company designs the printer head/tank so others can’t be used. You see, the ink is really how these companies make their money not on the printer! Even still the ink formulation each uses is unique enough that one can’t just re-fill just any ink into it....

Let’s say I don’t need bluetooth, wifi and isight. Can I use my laptop without it’s display attached? (This is semi-retorical since I’ve seen photos of such “configurations”, where only an external display was connected and apparently it seemed to work....
Chosen Solution It looks like it’s the same design and same connecter, so why not give it a shot? In the words of Miro, our main man in charge of teardowns, “Probably not.” He points out that you could theoretically hook an iPad up to a car battery with enough tinkering and fiddling, but the feasibility of it working is very low. We believe roughly it’s the same story for connecting batteries between different iPads....
Chosen Solution So, I carefully changed my battery, put phone back together and now the screen is Black.. the phone is working, I can see the screen when I shine the flashlight on it so I believe it is the LCD? Can anyone tell me what yo do, I have taken it apart 3 times and made sure it was all hooked up. TIA As @captainsnowball suggests, it sounds like the backlight was damaged however I suspect that the backlight circuit is the culprit and not the screen....
Chosen Solution HELP…Ive replace my display assembly on an 09’ 15" Macbook Pro after the hinges broke on the original display and it developed vertical lines but no images. I would use an external monitor when I needed to use the machine. Once I had everything put back together, I press the power button…it chimes once but wont power up. Problem solved. The LDVS was fine…thanks for the email @mayer. However, when I initially reassembled everything I added the small black velcro pad from the old assembly on top of the one that came with the new assembly causing to much pressure to be put on the LDVS connection which would make the machine think it was a fault/short....
Chosen Solution Recently when i was using the MacBook (Late 2011, 13’, 2.4MHz i5) without it been plugged in, it turned off all of a sudden with the “chich” sound and a puff of smoke came out. I thought my Mac died. But when i turned it on, it stated to work fine (checked with diagnostics, everything worked fine). So, Just to be sure i took it to the apple service centre, and they showed me that a chip on the logic board (below the fan) have been burnt....
Chosen Solution A ‘Chip’ near battery connector is heating up and making hissing sound, while charging. I Thought its battery so i got it replaced, but its still the same. The Chip squarish with rounded cornerd 10mm x 10mm is just near the battery connector and marked “4R7 403 W47”. Edit : Its probably an inductor. Just tell people you have Hissing Cockroaches inside ;-} Sadly, it’s the only solution: L7130 - 4....

Chosen Solution I am working on a MacBook Pro that has dual GPUS (Intel Iris & AMD Radeon) The user uses 2 external monitors. His computer starts slowing down, the kernel usage gets to 87% and oddly bounces as high as 240 %. The laptop is a bit warmer than usual but no thermal problems. The user reports that when this problem started that it was about 1 hour or so before the computer slows down; it is now starting to slow down in about 5 minutes....
