The seller said the phone screen doesn’t turn on after a battery replacement, but it gets recognized by iTunes and so on. Sure thing, I plugged it in, phone turns on and gets recognized by iTunes. The screen didn’t turn on though. I decided to buy a new screen and battery, just in case, and just installed both few hours ago....

You must also make sure that you have the right charger and that the charger is working properly. If all that is okay, you may need to replace the lightning connector, follow this guide. While you are at it, replace the battery....

Chosen Solution I inadvertently broke the flex cable of my home button while lifting up the screen. I read that a replacement home button will NOT allow me to use Touch ID anymore. Is it possible to repair, maybe solder the flex cable that I broke? It is impossible sadly. They are directly correlated with the logic board for security reasons and if you break one you’re out of luck. You could try and find a new logic board with a home button but that might be costly....
Chosen Solution I have dropped my computer multiple times, resulting in damage to the charging port. After looking inside, it appears that part of my charger may have broken off into it, and that the casing to hold the charger in place has been damaged. (99 is the max number of messages that the answering system can hold) If so it will not record new messages. You will have to delete some old messages stored in the machine
