Chosen Solution I bought a used ASUS X441 on eBay. All of the screws are missing from the bottom cover. I looked on ASUS website but the user manual has no information on the size of the screws. (or find your exact model here) Try placing a thin wire in each hole to measure the depth and then compare it to what screws are shown in the list....
Chosen Solution i was trying to sting the red light “sensor” (it’s a little pin of the audio jack) with a needle, it works for me like 3 months, but i have a friend who loves the wired headphones, aaaand my audio it’s down again. does someone knows how to kill the optical audio, without kill the audio jack? like cut a pin and let the audio jack and internal speakers working....
Chosen Solution So I took off the back panel to upgrade the ssd, however the clips that clip onto the panel at the bottom part near the hinge of the laptop don’t seem to be there anymore, so the panel is not clipping back on.. Chosen Solution This is an old A1226 or A1260. Not sure which. The display was black on initial boot, but could see faint light at bottom edge so it appears that the backlight was working. Connected external monitor which worked fine. After leaving the system booted for a while, the laptop display came on and functions normally. Rebooted and it still functions. Seems to be a cold/fully discharged boot issue but not sure where to go from here....

Chosen Solution I got this xbox one s from my friend in this state. It powers on into the startup error menu with E203 . I then proceed to offline update it and it gives me E101 immediately after starting. I haven’t seen any solutions to this anywhere else so I thought I should ask it here. It turns out the hard drive was bad. I replaced it, performed the usb update, and it worked....

Chosen Solution brake lights not working I would recommend to check the fuse(s) in the fuse-box first. If they are good, check the connectors under the steering-wheel. If you have a trailer, check the fuse from the trailer hitch.
Chosen Solution My MacMini 6,1 fan stopped working, and when I attempted to reseat it, the side of the female connector snapped. I don’t have the new fan yet, but should it still fit with this connector in this state? At least the pins are not damaged. You may need a bit of tape to hold the connection down.

EBay has some chinese sellers offering backlights supposedly for my mid-2009 model. The machine’s not worth $300 to me for a new top case, especially since the keyboard still works fine. Yes search eBay for MacBook pro keyboard backlight they are cheap but you need to take out logic board and optical drive to do so....

Google for “ disassembly” and you’ll usually find several disassembly guides and videos. Sometimes a bit of pressure on the battery compartment door will help top accomplish that. While the LCD sustained no damage, I cannot say the same for the LCD back cover and bezel which now have a large dent. Although it’s only cosmetic, it’s an eye sore and what to fix it. While I have found a few in depth replacement guides for the older generation MBAs, I have yet to find one for themid-2012 model....
