Chosen Solution Transmission change from 700r4 1988 to 4L80-E tranny in 1998 chevy. Both have overdrive and 8 foot beds. Hey Jeff. If I remember correctly, the 700r4 is the same internally as the 4L60-E. The 4L80 will have a different gear ratio and is a different size (regardless of bed length). The main problem is that the E stands for electronically controlled, which will be your biggest issue. It’s been a long time since I did a 4L60 swap but I think you also have to replace the 40 tooth reluctor ring for your Vehicle Speed Sensor to please your ECM, and the torque converter bolt pattern is different, so you’ll need a different flex plate as well....

Chosen Solution If I understand you correctly, you want to make generate a backup of both MacOS and Windows to reinstall on a fresh, faster SSD. There are a bunch of ways to do that, but the easiest and least time consuming is probably going to be a Time Machine backup for MacOS, and then use Winclone to back up your Bootcamped Windows partition, so you can then install them both on the newly installed SSD....

I didn’t want them to replace the main board, because the repair would cost more than good second hand display. Can I replace the logic board myself? Chosen Solution I recently disconnected the connector that seems to control the vibrator and power button on the iPhone, it’s located right by the rest of the screen connector ports. Anyway, I can’t seem to get it to go back in no matter what I do. I have been trying for almost an hour now and I can’t get it in there. Inspiron 15-5547 as above, however mid-disassembly I have this feeling it might be a difficult to repair part. The plastic itself, and I’m not so sure about the button itself. Chosen Solution Recently I had to replace the motherboard in my IPOD classic. The IPOD shell is black and the replacement board came from a silver IPOD. Itunes displays the icon on IPOD summary page next to IPOD name in SILVER color. Is there a way to change the icon to display in BLACK? @krams it is hardcoded to each individual logic board. You could try and reinstall the firmware but ultimately I believe it will still show ‘Silver" since this is where the board originated from and that information cannot be changed....
