Chosen Solution My iPad 2 has fallen down. Since then there is no backlight (the screen seems to work fine because when I use a torch I can see everything on the screen) and also the digitizer cracked. I have removed the cracked digitizer carefully and checked inside the iPad for further damage which could explain the backlight failure. But I couldn’t find any other damage. Everything looks OK. How can I find what causes the backlight malfunction....

Opening it up again, I can see a fuse (?) has melted near by the DP power port: I might have been clumsy and put the cable the wrong way, making the fuse pop. It seems like it should be replacable with a decent soldering iron....
Chosen Solution Hi all, I have a butane soldering iron, removed the cport as carefully as possible using the heat nossle.. I think I might have damaged the pads or they’re lifted.. The pads are yellow/copper and not without solder like most of the videos. I may have damaged the board, I’m not sure. Can someone please assist with looking at the pic and advise if I can proceed to mount the new port and tips on how to get solder to stick to the pads....

Apart from that it is fine and there is nothing wrong with the display itself. The picture is great. Is it possible to repair just the hinges? Chosen Solution I’m about to start the laborious process of replacing the screen of my Nexus 6P. Having bought an anti-static wrist wrap, I’m looking for a good place nearby to ground myself. The nearest power outlet is too far for the wrist band’s cord to reach, but I read I can also ground to an unpainted metal part of a PC that’s plugged into a grounded outlet. Unfortunately, my PC doesn’t have many unpainted metal parts....
Chosen Solution My keyboard backlight connector broke off while trying to plug it back in can I resolder it I cant think of any reason why you couldn’t. Long as you’re careful, don’t get anything crossed, and make sure solder points aren’t going to short out on each other I can’t think of any reason this shouldn’t work.

Chosen Solution Trying to log in mommy mode, keeps saying invalid password. Password is correct. Can log into the account from my phone but can’t from nabi I had this problem, it appears that the Nabi servers are down (maybe permanantly?) To enter mommy or daddy mode though, turn off the wifi - you can either do this in the settings (within the kids mode) or its easier to just put it into airplane mode (hold down the power button and there should be an option there) Or go somewhere where there isn’t any wifi Then log in to mommy mode as normal It would seem that if the tablet is connected to wifi, it checks the password on the internet, and seeing as there is a problem it returns an error....

A lot of times a replacement panel, if it is even available, will cost more than a new TV. Sometimes you can get the panel from an otherwise broken TV of same model.
Chosen Solution can you charge a tablet with input requirement of 5v 2amp with a charger with output of 5v 1 amp? It probably will work but it will be a little slower to charge because of the depleted amp. It may depend on the tablet as well. Apple products don’t let you do that but android should work fine. Doesn’t hurt to try it out.

Chosen Solution I have an o5 Chevy aveo it won’t go over 3000rpm in drive pushing pedal to floor and won’t shift unless I hold pedal to floor then release quickly then back on to the floor bogging very badly and jerking and jumping @junkaveo ,Anthony, Your Aveo may be going into limp mode because of a engine/transmission fault. Have the vehicle scanned for diagnostic codes to help diagnose what the defect is....

Then it will act up again, but with no link in the way. I’ve found that 90% rubbing alcohol with a tooth brush will usually fix this situation. But now the check engine light is on with a code that translates to cooling fans system not working properly. Chosen Solution Long story short: Working from home, with at baby on the knee, drinking coffe = coffee in shiny new laptop. I have done this before, with a MacBook 2,1 - so I quickly turned the laptop off, tore out the powercord, put a newspaper on the keyboard and turned it upside down. Getting the battery out was harder though, so I let it remain (my second mistake?). After ca 24 hours I turned the laptop back (probably too soon), and checked the newspaper - which had absorbed a decent amount of coffee....

I’ve tried two known-working displays, neither of them display anything. System is very slow . i already dismantle 3-4 times some time after assembly it works for little time means working until restart. after restart it again giving same problem. Run the extended version of the Apple Hardware Test. Sometimes you will get an error if you run the quick version, and it may be something of a false positive....
