Perhaps related, perhaps not - our 10 year old Samsung LED flat screen there was also found dead - I was able to repair with a new main board, while the power supply and T-Con board were fine. There had been some heavy weather in the month before - possible lightning strike?...
Chosen Solution I have an ADC Studio Display which has no backlight. I do not think it is the inverter because the power light stays solid and the backlight does not flash at start up. I have tested the CFL with 3.5V and no go! Does it need more voltage to test with? Keaton, I am not a Mac person, but I do know that your CCFL will require a higher voltage, a lot higher....

After drying out For a couple of days booted up the Mac to great surprise that it was working fine. Except when I took out the charger… Bam! It turns off. The battery said it was 92% charged....

Chosen Solution The battery swelled so bad it popped the screen off. it was in a drawer underneath my clothes I bought it late December 2014. it is not old.worked great kept it in drawer when I wasn’t using it.Went on vacation 2weeks came back to this.I still have all but the screen. I would really like to know if this has happened to other people.there was no reason that could have caused the battery to do this....
Chosen Solution I have replaced the housing and the deigitizer in my iPad mini 2. I have not yet glued the digitzer on because of the charging issue. The problem is that when I plug the iPad to change it the battery percentage stays the same. Today I plugged it in and it was on 70% and a few seconds after I plugged it in it dropped to 65%, so I unplugged it and plugged it again and it dropped to 62%....

From the top I can see that it is slightly coming away from the screen on one side. Thanks! It snaps in. Apply pressure with thumb and forefinger to the case working toward the opening and it should snap shut....

Chosen Solution Hey, I spilled a small amount of water (~tsp) into the back air vent of my 2014 macbook pro retina while it was closed. I flipped it upside down, wiped it off, and dried it thoroughly with a room dehumidifier. The computer now powers up normally but to a black screen. It works perfectly with an eternal monitor via hdmi. I tried the various software black screen fixes (reseting PRAM, brightness, ect) but nothing helped....

Blank screen, no cracks, all internal connectors secured. iTunes recognizes it, is able to to update it, but nothing shows up on screen. Screen remains off. Screen and Digitizer only broke, or logic board broke? Most likely screen and digitizer broke if the phone has never been serviced before. The flex cable up to the very end of the display assembly seems to cut for some unknown reason (What I mean that this is a common issue and has happened to quite a few people)....
Chosen Solution I have a BLU Vivo XL3 plus that I, sadly, dropped in water. However, it is turning on and charging after two days of not using it and drying out, even putting in in a vacuum sealed bag to try and save it. The screen is NOT responding to my touch, and I suspect it is from the water damage. I bought my phone and it doesn’t have any warranty… I have called to see if any shop can replace the screen for me and it’s either ridiculously expensive or they don’t know anything about my phone....
Chosen Solution None of the replacement batteries offered on IFixit match what I have in my 1st Gen Soundlink Mini. The battery that is in my unit is Part Number 061384. Does anyone know if the batteries offered on IFixit are interchangeable with the 061384? TIA Perhaps others having the same question may find this info helpful. Chosen Solution I was wondering about the buttons not responding. No matter how many times I press them or how hard I press them, they just won’t work. Check to see if there is anything lodge or stuck behind the buttons. If this does not work, try taking the device apart and cleaning the button contacts with a q-tip and rubbing alcohol.
Chosen Solution I recently replaced the headphone jack on my controller as it had issues, the new one works except the mic on my headset won’t work at all. I know the headset is fine as it works perfectly on my laptop, could it be a loose connection somewhere or should i consider a new controller? I figured out the problem, i just had to gently bend the connection pins on the aux port out slightly and it works perfectly now...

I had broken my Nexus 7 screen and buy a new screen when placing ebay but forgot to disconnect the battery cable . You can get the package size by measuring the distance from one point to the other. Yes, you will need this to get your display to work. There should only be 12 Volt on that rail, so make sure you have no short anywhere else....
Chosen Solution I have a macbook pro mid 2012 15’’ with the black screen issue (I have video as I can use flashlight to login and then can use external monitor but no backlight on the original screen) I ran some tests on the logic board which seems fine till the moment. But I coulnd’t ran the full tests as I am not willing to take out the logic board and ran tests on the bottom side....
