Chosen Solution Hi! My car’s clutch makes a high-pitched squeaking noise when depressed. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or not that it started about a month ago when it got cold (I live in Chicago). I’ve been compensating for this annoying sound by cranking up the stereo, but it’s probably time I dealt with it. Does anyone know the cause of this? And if I were to lubricate it (assuming I could even find the area in need of lubrication) is there a certain lubricant I should use?...

Chosen Solution My laptop isn’t charging even after I’ve already replaced the AC/DC power adapter jack. I could be wrong but the problem might be in the battery. My laptop is 1 year old and I use my laptop constantly while its charging. I’m wondering if my laptop could run without its battery, while only plugging it to the power supply adapter? Yeah! Chosen Solution Hi, The long black plastic bar that sits between the screen and the body of the MacBook Air has cracked all the way through in the middle. I assume that this is part of the hinge mechanism as this means the screen is now very floppy. Chosen Solution Hi, I have a macbook intel cor duo (2007). I spilled less than half barley coffe cup on the keyboard on the right side near the optical device. I immediately placed upside down the computer, swiched off, removed the battery and dryed with tissues. I left it to dry for 8 hours, then I tried to boot it and it swhiched on perfectly, eveything was ok, even the keyboard, after a pair of seconds I swiched of again and left the mac to dry overnight but with the battery attached....

Chosen Solution Why at start up my battery gauge reads14 but after a few it drops to above 12ish @mchlwllngtn could be a worn battery as well as a failing alternator. Check the output of the alternator to verify that the gauge is true. Check this Ford ;-) guide 1997-2003 Ford F-150 Alternator Replacement on where to place the meter to confirm the output.

Chosen Solution just bought a refurbished Panasonic Toughbook CF-53 a while ago, and while it’s working well enough so far, as a couple hours ago the battery has mysteriously stopped charging. When I plug the adapter in, the battery light turns yellow, then starts flashing red about thirty seconds later. I have no clue why it does this, the most intuitive answer I can think of is that the battery died, but I have no idea why it would die so suddenly....

Chosen Solution So I had my phone in the gym, and accidentally dropped a weight on my phone with the case on it, and my phone had blacked out. The frame was also bent in the corner. Is this fixable? You should post a picture so we can determine what needs to be replaced. You don’t say if the screen cracked so it’s possible the screen is still good and the damage is to the logic board....

Chosen Solution 2011 Panasonic TC-P42ST30 screen went black, no audio, no image. LED light steady on. When power is cycled off and on, LED light gives 14-blinks. Replaced power board with replacement #1; this resulted in no change. Replaced power board again with replacement #2; this resulted in no change. Replaced A-board, tried with both original and replacement power board; this again resulted in no change. Any ideas are appreciated....

Chosen Solution Last year my gameboy color was dropped. Very, very hard. The screen was cracked, leaving a large area of dead pixels, but it was otherwise in fine working condition. This morning, I turned it on, and the screen was completely dead, no signs of life, and the speakers sounded muffled. I plugged in headphones and the audio sounded fine on them. Chosen Solution I am running MacOS Catalina 10.15.5 on my 2019 Macbook Pro. Often, when I open my laptop, the keyboard and trackpad are unresponsive. If I don’t close the laptop, a window will pop up after 15-30 seconds that says “Bluetooth keyboard setup. There isn’t a keyboard connected.” I’ve tried resetting the SMC and NVRAM and rebooting in safe mode, to no avail. One thing to note is that the fingerprint reader/power button still works even if the rest of the keys on the keyboard don’t—I can triple-click the power button to open the accessibility options....

I have the logic board removed, and before diving into a soldering job, I am hoping for some tips replacing this 9-pin + 2 post board-mounted port. Chosen Solution Hi to all electronic wizards, my 11" 2011 Macbook Air display seemed cracked and had sort of a color bleeding growing from the crack, making it unusable. I swapped it with a new display using a great iFixit guide, so the computer is good as new. The old display still has nice, even, white light (except from where the crack is, of course), and I thought it could be reused as a small slide sorter, as I have a project coming up where I will be sorting a couple of thousand slides, scanning the best ones....

Chosen Solution So I’ve been using this phone for a couple months now and suddenly the micro usb has stopped charging, I have used multiple micro usb cables and adapters and this hasn’t worked also I tried supposed fixes from online but didn’t work either.
