Chosen Solution Randomly the other day I went to go plug in my charger & it wouldn’t charge.. it said it was charging but it didn’t have the green light & it was still on 4% after I had it on for an hour well after a day or two it died completely. When I put it on charge it still said it was charging but wasn’t, I couldn’t turn it on so I searched YouTube videos & some unplugged the battery source so I did that & plugged the charger to it....

These devices typically rely on a small reserve capacitor near the Flash ROM or have a dedicated battery line to do the job the CMOS battery would normally be used for. If you want to get the CMOS RAM to save again, you will either need to find the capacitor(s) that provide power to the CMOS RAM, or replace the battery....

Chosen Solution So after I upgraded my late 2015 iMac 27" and put it back together, the backlight did not turn on when started up. Its just the backlight because I can see everything on the screen if I shine a strong light on it. I recently looked at the diagnostic LEDs on the logic board and the 4th one will not light when starting up. That leads me to indicate the issue is with the backlight board....

Chosen Solution Hello guys i had been serious problem of electricity it damaged connection of nap of lcd screen with logic board sinve that my imac start up with black screen and noise of fan. Lmatina, yes you have had a shortcircuit. You will have to stop using your iMac, remove the board. Clean it off with isopropyl alciohol and a soft brush. Then you need to evaluate all the traces, and you are missing some components on the board....

I used to have just the screen separator with Vac, it did the job for what it was designed to do but recently purchased a cheap model 5 in 1 and it makes it a lot easier to do galaxy frame separating and just having the extra functions is nice....
