Chosen Solution Ok, Working on a Air 2 wifi version. I changed the tristar and passed with the tester. when I power the board alone or just with the battery it pulls 1.5A steady. When I attach the screen it does this repeating boost cycle where the current jumps to 1.5 amps then to 0. Each cycle is maybe 5 seconds. Running out of knowledge and no schematic on ZXW....

Chosen Solution One night I restarted my imac and after a few min of booting up, it shut off and wouldnt come back on. I did every trick I could find on the web and nothing. Took it to apple genius bar, my warranty had just expired in may…they tried new power supply and nothing. New logic board, nothing again…so they called corporate and they told them its a “cascading” issue, meaning the power supply/logic board and even the back casing had to be replaced....

Chosen Solution The phone is getting very warm and discharging rapidly after new battery install. What was wrong with the previous battery? You may want to consider doing an iTunes backup of the phone, restore it then restore from the iTunes backup that you made and see if that helps with the rapid battery drain issue. Note that you can check battery health either via the Battery Life app on iOS, Coconutbattery app on Mac OS X or 3UTools on Windows....
