Chosen Solution I got a similar problem with a Nintendo 3DS. Hi @michaeld2 , You didn’t say which screen was faulty but here’s a link to the ifixit 3DS Repair guides. They show to to replace both of the LCD screens, lower and upper. Unfortunately ifixit only has the lower LCD unit in stock and is out of stock if you require the upper LCD unit.
Chosen Solution It got a bit wet and the only thing wrong some months later is that it needs charging more often. I know this is the bit that water gets too first so I’m hoping to buy a new part and change it myself @ruth01 water damage can most certainly cause a slow death by corrosion. At minimum you need to change the battery. If you like your phone I also would suggest that you clean it of any corrosion and debris that is surely forming inside your phone....
