Chosen Solution The wire to my headphone jack is broken at the jack. Is it possible to cut it and reconnect it to the jack or to splice on a new jack? I’m afraid that’s not possible, today’s headphone jacks’ cables are factory moulded and they have the bad habit to break right close to the plastic. Chosen Solution I know that some of the hardware is different for the Verizon and AT&T iPhone 4s, but do I need to find a battery made specifically for the Verizon iPhone 4? We think the batteries will work in both phones. There are different apple part numbers (APN) for the batteries but that is common for iPhones even within the same device. We’ve tested all possible combinations of APNs and iPhones and have not had an issue....

Chosen Solution I just replaced the battery, and it vibrates when I hold the power button, I don’t know if the screen is just broken but want to try other things to see if I can get it to work before replacing it, I just have a pulsing blue led right now and nothing more This can be a rather tricky repair as the mental frame has to get pushed out from the rest of the mid frame which holds the OLED screen and other components....

Chosen Solution I have an Onyx 550 showing no signs of life (light ring on power plug doesn’t even light). Swapping in a known-good logic board confirms that something on the board is the problem. The C1 capacitor rattles when I shake the board, so I’m thinking it has dried out and simply replacing that might fix the problem. Do you know the full specs of the C1 capacitor? Chosen Solution My iPhone 11 recently cracked only on the back glass. It’s no big deal with a case, but I want to retain the structure of the phone. The back glass is covered in hairline cracks (no chunks of glass gone). I understand that sealing glass with Epoxy won’t fix the look of the cracks. My goal with this idea is to smooth out the back glass of the phone and give it better structural integrity/weatherproofing....
