Chosen Solution I live in Australia but I went to Canada for holidays. As I was taking a picture my phone screen went fuzzy, then it went black. When I try the Power button plus volume up it comes up with a blue screen. I have tried all the other button combinations. What should I do about this? Is it still able to boot into the lock screen? Seeing a blue screen from holding power + volume up (and +home) indicates the phone is able to at least turn on and boot into recovery mode....

Chosen Solution All the buttons on the side of my iPhone the volume how are silent switch to not work after I replace the screen and digitizer how can I fix this Double check your work once more, there’s is no obvious way a screen replacement would influence volume and ringer buttons behavior, except for the fact the little connector is a little bit pesky. Possibly torchlight is not working either....

Chosen Solution Hello, I have diagnosed a bad proximity sensor and I also noticed the front facing camera is noticing blurry that why it should be like. I was wondering if this bad picture quality is related to the bad proximity sensor. The screen has been replaced by previous owner. As far as I know the proximity sensor shouldn’t effect the front camera but they are attached to the same assembly....

Chosen Solution So I have a white AT&T Galaxy Note i717 the very first Note…The first Note was released in the US in Feb. 2012 sold for 299.00 with a 2 year contract. ..or the sky rocket price of like 800.00 Without?! I bought mine outright. In SEP2012 I didnt have insurance or anything on it?? Chosen Solution Okay here’s the deal. I bought a replacement 250gb hard drive for my 12" 867MHz PowerBook G4 about a year ago. Since than the rest of the computer has started to crap out. (Keyboard doesn’t work, problems with the screen, and flaky AirPort) Here’s my question, is it possible to swap out the hard drive and ram into a 12" 1.33GHz iBook G4? The reason for this is that I do a lot of work in PhotoShop and I need 1gb of ram to run it and it would also be nice to have the larger hard drive (current size 40gb) Any inside would be helpful....

Chosen Solution I just bought the battery replacement kit on here for my iPhone 6s and someone I know brought up that I won’t be able to fix it bc my screen is cracked and when I lift it off to replace the battery it will crack it more, is this true ? Will I need fix my screen before I’m able to fix the battery ? No. That person can’t have much experience under their belt....

Chosen Solution I’m doing a battery replacement, everything went perfectly, really easy job, until… it came time to put the antennas back in place. I cannot seem to get them to snap in place, having done work on iPhones before I know they can be fiddley cause they are so small but an hour later and a sore neck and I am no closer to getting these antennas to snap back in....

Chosen Solution After doing some research on a LED question I found: Defective CCFL backlight may have the following symptoms: Screen flashes on red/pink and goes off. Picture stays on in red and slowly be come normal. Picture flickering with dim display. Picture flickering on and off. All these symptoms indicate that the LCD backlight lamp (CCFL Lamp) has reached the end of its life. I’m looking for more information on replacing these....

Chosen Solution How is the chuck removed? Screwtype and size? I used a Torx T-20 screwdriver to remove the Left Hand chuck screw. I then made sure that the drill was in low gear and in the drill setting. Use the largest allen wrench that you can tighten in the chuck. Insert the short end of the allen wrench into the chuck and tighten up the chuck. Lay the drill on its side , then strike the long end of the allen wrench with a hammer to unscrew it from the spindle....

I just ran into this problem yesterday at the shop and I was able to resolve the issue by going to Settings - Application Manager - Google App - Uninstall updates. (Posted to another question and she said this helped her resolve the issue) Let me know if that helps your problem! I realized I dropped the phone when I got in the cab. Chosen Solution I have upgraded to an iPhone 3G but still have my 1st Generation iPhone. AT&T switched out the SIM card. My question is can a first generation iPhone be used as an iPod touch for Apps, Games, Wifi, etc. I want to pass this on to my kids. I tried the direct approach but my computer won’t recognize my iPhone without the SIM card and AT&T won’t sell just a SIM Card without an account....

Chosen Solution I have a disused Powerbook G3 Wallstreet sitting in a cupboard running Mac OS 8 and I was wondering if I could get it to run Mac OS X or even 10.6. I understand it is implausible but if I could change the logic board, processor, RAM, I/O etc, could it be done? If it could I could get more use out of it rather than it being a collectors item I would appreciate suggestions...
