Chosen Solution Hello, I have a MacBook Pro 13 A1278 Core 2 Duo 2,53Ghz from 2009, logic board EMC 2326. A few years ago I replaced the wifi board inside the hinge but plugged it’s connector the wrong side so something burnt on the logic board and since the wifi board is not detected. During a cleaning of the computer yesterday I noticed at least 1 burnt component on the motherboard in an area near the connector for the wifi cable on the other side of the board....

Chosen Solution Hi, I was repairing a water damaged iphone 6 when i removed the short on PP_VCC_MAIN, i restored it because of the passcode on it. After restoring i noticed that i couldn’t activate the phone, so i discovered a short on VREG_SMPS1_0v90 and when i removed the baseband cpu, the short was gone. How can i repair it or bypass activation ? thanks There is not much you can do if the short is in the baseband IC itself....

Chosen Solution Hi I bought two iphone 7 as second hand and i find the following trouble: quick battery discharge (half a day autonomy). I thought that both batteries were dead but the result with battery life was a 75% capacity score. Of course , complete restore as new phone as been done with last ios and battery drain is still present. But what is the most surprising is that the battery discharge occurs also when the phones are switch off....

Chosen Solution Friend’s iphone 3gs (4.2.1 (6.15.00 bb) wanted me to upgrade to 5.0, tried sn0wbreeze to preserve BB, when restoring in itunes 10.5 i mistakenly restored to Official FW (4.2) and now it’s stuck in recovery loop, tried everything with custom fw and no luck, now it won’t accept ANY FW (1015 error) please help (new Bootrom) are you on a mac or a pc? the err can be fixed pretty easily either way....

Chosen Solution I have a Bose Sounddock i pod player that I no longer use to play music. My question is if the Sounddock can be modified to be used as a auxillary speaker for a Sony 46" TV. The model that I have only has one power input plug. Branson Tate, yes there is. Just add an AUX port to the sounddock. Follow the instructions on here. Hope this helps, good luck....

I’ve found a MacBook Pro A1398 15" Early 2013 Core i7-3740QM 2.7GHz 8GB logic board which I’m capable and equipped to replace IF it will work! Will it work? Chosen Solution i recently bought a secondhand macbook late 2008 unibody and there was a problem with the old hard drive. so i went to buy myself a samsung 850 evo ssd to replace the hard drive. i was planning to do a clean install of the os x on the new ssd but after removing the old hard drive in putting in the new ssd, after the chime, i have tried holding down the option key, but only an arrow mouse showed up, with no disc utility options etc....

Chosen Solution All the stuff I found in internet about no Baseband firmware is joined with no IMEI number I have checked some cables inside but still thinking that maybe the flex interconnection between upper and lower side of logic board could be the cause I’ve changed the dock and 3G antenna but without solution I think that restore will cause a brick but OTA is not able to achieve because of the error during checking system in the iPhone Could be solved UPDATING from iTunes?...

Chosen Solution My friend spilled soup on his Macbook and gave it to me to fix. Nothing happens when you push the power button. And the battery is not being charged when its plugged in (the light remains green on the power adapter despite the battery being dead). I’ve taken the entire thing apart and scrubbed the logic board gently with alcohol and still nothing. Could it just be the board that’s the problem or potentially the power button/keyboard assembly since it was spilled on that too....

Chosen Solution Hi my phone suffered severe water damage while camping and sitting in a pool of water for an unknown length of time. As I pulled it out of the water I instinctively pressed the home button and it worked but then when I looked at it again it wouldn’t turn on. My partner opened it up, dryed it out and removed the corrosion he could see but it still wouldn’t power on or even attempt to charge....

Chosen Solution I have tried a new battery and a new charge port. Phone appears to be charging as my meter reads 1.01 ma. Hard reset has no effect. Plugging it in to iTunes will not update or restore. Update (07/18/2017) Phone show no signs of damage. No H20 either. No info beyond that. All cables are OEM. Battery is a known working battery as is the Charge port. While charging, the Apple logo flashes on for a second or two....

Chosen Solution When iPhone 6 was new ApplePay worked fine. After 6 months it would work intermittently, then about a year from purchase stopped working entirely. I took it to Apple Genius Bar. They worked with it for about 2 hours and finally said it was a hardware problem-wanted $180 to fix. After I uploaded iOS 11 on a lark I tried ApplePay again. It worked flawlessly for 5 charges. Now it activates when held near merchant’s reader, but when I try to pay message of ‘Holder near reader’ appears and I can’t make payment....

Chosen Solution I am looking to upgrade my HP nc6000 to a machine that’s quite a bit newer and will have more video memory, as the nc6000 only has 32MB and I didn’t get the 64MB base board with mine.
