Chosen Solution TL;DR, I got a dodgy battery that doesn’t like to charge, so the battery is disconnected right now and I’m using the laptop in AC-only. What happens if I try to plug the battery in while the Mac is powered-on and running? I would’t try that if you have a dodgy battery! You could damage the logic board charging logic. How about we figure what’s happening. Let’s first disconnect the battery as well as the MagSafe charger (any anything else thats plugged in the ports)....

Chosen Solution following the iFixit “take the damned computer apart” guide i ordered a Phillips 00 and a T6 Torx from iFixit. lo and behold, about half the screws on the case aren’t Phillips 00. Chosen Solution re: 7th gen. ipod nano. does not always charge. requires a rubber band contraption to keep lightning cable connected charging ipod. I’m assuming the port needs cleaning/repair/replacement? When I remove all the screws that secure the engine shroud, I can only raise it about an inch or two before it hits the top frame of the tractor. Chosen Solution I recently replaced my Front-Facing camera and Sensor Assembly and also updated to iOS 11 then to 11.0.1 and they moved Auto-Brightness. I found where they moved it to, Settings> General>Accessibility>Display Accommodations When I go there it is totally missing from the list. Does anyone else have this issue of it not being there? or is it possible that I just have a bad Front-Facing Camera and Sensor Assembly?...
