Afterwards, the screen was jittery and also it froze COMPLETELY when opening heavy apps (Rhino 3d) and some heavy websites (Google Maps). This forces be to do a hard reset. The other day, by some odd, miraculous glitch, the computer opened the programs and ran as if nothing had happened! Testing if this was the case, once I closed and re-opened the app the computer froze once again....
Chosen Solution So my device is most likely water damaged but is not showing to many signs of it being water damaged. My phone started to charge slower everyday and I do not know if it is the cheap charger being junk or the charging port is fried. Chosen Solution I want to do an SMC reset and did so by powering off, disconnecting cable, holding pwr button, plugging in, powering on. But is there a way to verify i reset the SMC successfully? Resetting PRAM/NVRAM is clear because you hear 2 chimes A SMC reset null’s the values it holds so there is no means to tell for sure. What is the problem you think an SMC reset will alter?...

Chosen Solution Disconnected alternator and pulled all fuses one at a time with test light connected in line with positive post of battery, and test light remains lite. The only one that makes it go off is the fuse under the hood that is marked BATT it is a 50 amp fuse. Where would I start looking for a short with this fuse? took a while but I found the draw....

Chosen Solution Sorry no your system can only support 16GB of RAM. While the CPU architecture is able to support 32GB of RAM, the PCH logic used on your system and the systems firmware set the limit. Remember this is a laptop not a desktop and is using older technology DDR3 which is not being improved upon. As you add RAM or add a second drive you lessen the systems battery run time....

Chosen Solution Bought unit on eBay - listing said it was working one week ago. Turns out that it had been tampered with extensively - including prying the back off the LCD. The locking bar for the keyboard connector was absent. Managed to temporarily lock it with small plastic strip and got the start-up chime, possibly good logic board. Can I get / replace the locking bar? Thanks Frankly I’d send it back....
Chosen Solution I have cracked my iPhone 5s screen. An iPhone 5 screen is a lot cheaper than a 5s screen. I know the home buttons are different, but I could care less about having touch-ID. So is it possible that I could put an iPhone 5 screen on a 5s? Unfortunately, you can’t. They have different ribbon cable layouts. Alex is correct. I fix iPhones professionally, and iPhone 5s screens cost 2-3 times more than iPhone 5 screens, at least the high quality ones....
Chosen Solution Can I dump my iPhone 6 into a alcohol filled bath after removing the battery to really clean it? Don’t dump the entire phone in, you’ll just end up damaging things further, such as the backlight in your screen, the earpiece speaker, loud speaker etc. Just remove the logic board, you can put that in a tub of isopropyl alcohol, even then, this is a very basic DIY cleaning of water damage, if you don’t remove the shields and put it in an ultrasonic cleaner, you’re missing out on 80% of the board....
