I accidentally pulled the connection and pins clean off the board instead of only removing the cable. My sound quality is now greatly reduced but other than that the computer seems to work better than ever! But after replacing the screen I noticed that the home button stopped working (Touch ID doesn’t work either). I’ve read online that this could either be a fault of the screen itself (because it connects to the home button) or the home button could be busted. But I also read that you can’t replace the home button on your own and you need a genuine Apple home button to gain full functionality back, aka Apple can only replace your home button for you....

( unibodys are usually pretty good about cooling compared to some of the non unibodys i have owned that get quite hot on the bottom)…… I do know of some high quality fans however they are larger 120mm fans for desktop systems, usually HTPC based systems to reduce ambient noise as much as possible....
