You have a Nikon EN-EL3e, correct? Do you know what the voltage is on the battery after is has been fully charged and has sat untouched for 30min? The voltage on a 7.2v camera battery is in the low 8v range....
Chosen Solution Is it possible to completely remove and/or completely disable the accelerometer and gyroscope (combo chip) without bricking the phone? Desolder? Damage? How should I go about this? There are three sensor IC’s on the SE so depending on what functions you want to inhibit, the combo IC may or may not be enough. You can certainly remove the combo IC and it will not brick the phone or impede the boot sequence....
Chosen Solution I removed the screen from my SB2 to fix an issue. However once he screen was on the bench I noticed that there were still some thin metal strips that had remained on the screen when it was removed. The tabs that make connection to the mother board are ribbed so I cant salvage them. I need to know what they are for, if I’m going to damage a radio by turning on the device without them attached....

After disconnecting the earpiece speaker flex cable (the front speaker is otherwise working) all other issues stopped. I think there is a short on the flood illuminator / proximity and light sensors part that is causing the other power issues (cellular, charging not working and battery rapidly depleting)....
Chosen Solution My Hyper X Cloud 2 Gaming Headset has a 3.5mm plug that only works when the cable is bent in a certain direction implying that the connection has come loose and can only make a connection in a certain direction. It is plugged into the included 7.1 surrond remote but I have confirmed this happens in multiple ports i.e my phone, computer, other phones etc. This creates a situation where 1 ear is always working and the second is flakey....

Chosen Solution Question as asked. I know the logic boards and connectors are different but the size slot of the battery, will it fit into the iphone 5? and connect properly? First any parts for the new 5c won’t be available for quite awhile. As to the battery its’ self its’ just to soon to tell if Apple altered things so the connections are not compatible. You will need to wait for the IFIXIT teardown to see what is discovered....

If yes, you lost touch functionality and you must try the following: disconnect the display cables (all 3 of them), then reseat them carefully. Often when you’re connecting the screen cables, the touch-screen cable pops off without one noticing because the other flat cables are covering it....

Unfortunately you can’t replace just the screen on the 3DS XL, you’ll have to change the digitizer as well (these components are stuck together, separating them is fairly difficult and there’s a great chance of breaking the digitizer)....

I thought everything went quite well during the installation but when I finished it turned out that the CPU fan was going crazy. Chosen Solution I have inherited a Craftsman Lawn tractor and am trying to get it going. The engine seems to be having either timing or compression problems. A mouse had made a home behind the petrol tank and chewed through some wires. I fixed the wires and the electrics are now good. Start up holding down the Option key and see if it is there and select it. Then run Disk Utilities. If that fails or you don’t have it you will need to reinstall your system.
