Chosen Solution Hey guys, So I’m been using this Alienware M17X R1 for a while now. Unfortunately, I seem to have encountered an error that’s troubling. When I switch on the machine, it doesn’t display anything on the screen. No post. No Alienware logo, nothing. The lights on the keyboard and power/media contol panel come on. The GPU fan spins initially, then stops and then after 2 secs or so, the CPU fan spins constantly....

Chosen Solution when phone boots it shows a blue screen for three seconds then goes to the lock screen. Phone then works for a while, then screen gets cloudy. Any ideas? Phone is running ios 10.0.2 and was doing this since 9.3 Has the phone been repaired before (e.g screen replaced)? Usually for screen going cloudy it’s either long screw damage (When the longer screw out of the 3 for the metal plate covering the front screen cables are used on one of the lower two screw holes) or a damaged LCD ribbon cable / connector / or faulty screen (usually due to physical damage)....

Chosen Solution Hi everyone, The hinges in my old 13" Macbook Air (2013) seems to be broken. The display doesn’t stay “blocked” in the right way but opens till almost 180 degrees. I asked to a local technical support but they suggest to keep using the mac in that way because the hinges are strictly connected with some cables to the display. They could break those cables trying to fix the problem....

Chosen Solution I cracked the screen on my phone recently went about trying to fix it myself. I am kind of short on cash so I tried replacing the screen only and not the lcd. When I tried separating the screen from the lcd, the dark glass part remained on the broken screen and the light grey bit remained behind. I was just wondering if there was a lesse expensive way to repair the phone without having to replace the entire front assembly....

Thanks Check the microphone filter right next to the headphone jack. Most likely blocked from debris and or dust. I use tweezers or any similar fine tool to clean it from the outside and a brush to clean loose dust from it....

Chosen Solution Apple says that I can upgrade my RAM from 4GB to 8GB (2x4GB RAMs). Is it possible to install 2x8GB DDR3 SoDIMM 1333MHz cards into my Mac? I went ahead and installed 16GB RAM ram in my Macbook. It works fine, except for when I try to run Windows 7 Pro in bootcamp. It comes to the login screen then it stops. sometimes it just comes to a white screen....

I would like to know if in the past 2-3 years there have been some new batteries compatible with iPhone 6S with a higher density than the original one ? Thanks No, there are no “high capacity” batteries. You can print whatever you want on the label but the chemistries haven’t really changed over the years....

Chosen Solution I am getting a Mac Mini soon to use for internet/local media viewing on my TV. Since it is a computer with lots of USB ports, I want to maximize its usage. Can I connect an external hard drive to the Mac Mini and then utilize it as a Time Machine backup for my MacBook wirelessly? It would be great to go wireless with Time Machine and I will never bring myself to fork over the cash for Time Capsule....

After booting the iMac up, I cannot seem to have any sound device anymore: In preferences it says “the selected device has no output controls” the Volume icon on the top-left corner is greyed out at start-up I can hear the usual “Gong” sound, so the speakers are connected I already tried both SMC and NVRAM reset without success I am inclined toped it up again, but I would like to know what I should be looking for....

Chosen Solution I had only 2 speakers s hooked up and I attempted to hook up 4 speakers to those 2 speakers wire now my car radio is not giving sound to any speaker I hook up the radio has power Do not hook more than one speaker to each pair of wires. Only use 4 ohm speakers in automotive. If one speaker is shorted to ground, or inside, the deck will go into protection mode to prevent burning the amp chip....

Chosen Solution I have a 2003 honda accord coupe, no leaks in the transmission at all. When I start to drive the car it takes a lot to get going but after if moves just fine. No problem in shifting and the reverse is good too. Is it the pressure control solenoid valve? Dexter Murphy, error code P0962=Pressure Control Solenoid A Control Circuit Low. Chosen Solution Hey, I am currently using a MacBook (NOT MacBookPro) from 2008. Recently, the battery puffed up, and the charging was getting funky before that, so I got a new battery. Now the new battery and charging cord I bought will not hold a charge. The mac tells me the battery is “not charging” even when it’s plugged in, and that is the only way I can run it - if the cord is plugged in....

Chosen Solution My iPhones charging port is damaged, apple have said they can’t fix it. Have been told by a local repair shop they should be able to fix it. Is this easily done? I’m insured via my bank so just wondering whether to try and get it fixed or pay the £100 for a new one? Replacing a charging port is a pretty standard (and easy) repair. Chosen Solution Hi, I have a Macbook Pro A1260. I replaced the hard drive with a 500GB hybrid solid-state drive. At seemingly random times, I hear a chirping noise and the drive spins down (I’m assuming it powers off for some reason). It generally spins right back up, but I’m stuck with the POD (pinwheel of death) while the drive isn’t at full speed. Does anybody know why this happens? It doesn’t make a difference if I’m running on battery or on the power adapter....

When I try to install Yosemite from the flash onto my new hard drive, though, my computer isn’t recognizing the presence of my hard drive - the only device it’s recognizing is the flash drive....

Chosen Solution Hi guys I’ve got a 1982 Suzuki fa 50 I recently pulled the carburettor apart and cleaned it using direction off YouTube and now when I try to start it, it sounds weird and doesn’t start not sure what I’ve done I’ve checked everything 3 times I’m starting to get really frustrated with it.
