Chosen Solution So i assembled almost the whole thing but when i tried to plug the battery wire into the port it wouldn’t insert so I looked up the model and it turns out that i got a 6s battery kit instead of a 6 battery kit. So I was wondering if i take out the battery can i send it back for a return, or not. If it was already glued in place with biadhesive I’d say no, nobody would replace or refund a used battery....
Chosen Solution We changed the display on a Macbook A1534 after doing so the device will not turn on with power button or multikey softrest options. We feel heat on the bottom of the device from the batteries but it will not turn on. Tried it with the old display? A bad LCD panel from factory can short PP3V3_S0 or PP5V_S0 to ground, which would prevent the MacBook from booting. Did you press the button next to the battery before disconnecting the trackpad cable, so the system detect light on the logic board goes off?...

Chosen Solution Every 5-10 minutes my phone will notify me that there is no sim card inserted (even though it is in there amd hasnt been moved) and will disconnect me. Problem is (briefly) solved when I restart the phone, but then it happens again quickly. Hi @rizu6 , Try swapping the SIM card from your phone with a known working network compatible SIM card from another phone and check if yours works OK in the other phone and if the other SIM card works OK in your phone without problems....

Chosen Solution Today I opened my MacBook just to see that there’s a crack in it. The crack stretches upward, just touching the screen (this is hard to see) and I don’t know what to do. Chosen Solution Short story, the bottom is kinda loosen up a bit, should I apply an adhensive of some kind to fix this? If you push on it gently does it go back into place? If it feels like something hard is keeping it from sealing, then you will need to open it further to take out whatever piece is getting in the way. If its simply bad adhesive, you have use a strip of double sided adhesive/tape in that space to seal it back up....
Chosen Solution Was attempting to remove my MacBook battery. Was unscrewing when hand slipped and removed a little cable, where does this go?? The flat cable next to battery connector goes to the battery indicator you have on the side of the Mac. Unless it was snapped broken it plugs to the small connector beside that one of the battery. Chosen Solution HP Pavillion 9000. One of the two bevels which holds the screen onto the keyboard section is broken. Now the computer operates perfectly but the top (screen section) won’t close; thus, it is permanently stuck open. I am told it is a royal pain to make such a repair because there are five layers of “flats” comprising the screen section and these have to be disassembled in order to replace the bevel....
Chosen Solution The camera is several years old. When it is powered on, it frequently shuts down, retracting the lens. This sometimes happens within seconds of being turned on, other times it lasts long enough to take photos. I replaced the battery, then opened the camera up and cleaned the electrical contacts. Chosen Solution Both hinges ultimately are shot, the display loosely folds forward and backwards on it’s own. After inspection, both hinges show cracks on the clamps that connect to the posts (that are screwed to the display chassis). Taking this into account I was hoping that their was a guide/useful tips on how to remove both. I understand that it is a difficult repair. Yes it is possible to replace, however, not easy....
