Chosen Solution Hi Recently I bought a second hand macbook air that had coffee spilled on it. The owner replaced the battery, and it was working again like a charm. Now after a few months of my ownership, I turned the macbook on, but it had no backlight. Also the macbook turned off in about 5 seconds. The weird thing is, i’ve owned this macbook for about 5 months now, and it always worked great with no problems at all....

Chosen Solution My battery health says 100% but it also says it needs to be serviced and that it is significantly degraded and needs to be replaced. What do I do? Is it a bug? Is this an original battery or was already replaced in the past. Poor quality replacement batteries may give contradicting results in Battery Health wheras an original battery should be more consistent. Either way, the easiest thing to try is another high quality battery to see if it solves your problem....

Chosen Solution I dropped my computed and it landed on the metal leg of my computer stand just right to bend the aluminum frame right on the sd card slot. I was able to get my camera card out but don’t want to risk sticking a screwdriver in the slot to try to open up the space again and actually damage the card slot. The top half of the slot is OK it’s just the bottom half that is bent up just enough to keep the card from going in easily....

Chosen Solution I recently replaced the battery (replacement battery from iFixIt) in my iPad Air 2. After the replacement, the iPad will only turn on when connected to the charger, and even then it stuck in some sort of boot loop. It turns on, displays the Apple logo for 1-2 seconds, turns off, then turns back on, and repeats this loops indefinitely. I have read online that this is the “loop of doom” and it is the result of the battery not having enough charge to boot....

Chosen Solution I nothing hear if any call I received non a sound come from upper call speaker Hi, Try connecting the earphones with the microphone attachment and make a phone call. If you can hear now then the reception circuitry of the phone is working but the receiver is either loose or faulty and needs to be replaced.

Content within apps, such as scores from games, and settings from apps. For example, I have the game hay day, and I would want its progress to be on the new phone. Chosen Solution I have a 96 Toyota Camry n I would like to know if I could put my engine in a Lexus ES @rong5253 the 3.0 liter V6 from Toyota is the same as the Lexus ES 300. So that should not be an issue. Brackets etc will most likely be different and may have tobe switched over. Any other engine would only be a guess.

Chosen Solution The connector on my Seagate 4TB Plus Fast portable drive has gotten very flaky, and I need more onboard storage on my MacBook Pro 13" mid-2012. Is there any reason why I can’t take one of the two 2TB drives in the Seagate and install it in the optical bay with one of your sleds? Getting info on this drive seems to be tough. It appears to be an NTFS drive....

Chosen Solution Is it possible to upgrade the nvme ssd in this macbook pro ? Sadly, no. Any MacBook Pro from 2016 on have storage that is soldered directly onto the board. So it is effectively not upgradeable. Same goes for RAM and is extra complex on these M1 machines because the memory is a part of the actual M1 SOC.

There is a cable immediately to the left of the RAM slots with some sort of cover holding it down to connection spots on the logic board. Chosen Solution picture So im repairing my iPad 5 rn and i saw this little plastic ring around my homebutton, i decided to remove it as its just a piece of rubber and plastic, but maybe it served a purpose? lol. Chosen Solution How do I clean the engine - air intake cooling fins? I would just take some compressed air (preferably from an air compressor, but canned air might be just powerful enough) and use it to blow out any debris covering the engine and hiding inside crevices. You can take off the platic engine cover to gain access to the cooling fins.
