Chosen Solution Hello Everyone, Customer brought in a iPhone 6S that will not turn on. They thought they needed the screen replaced only and so I did… When i opened the phone i noticed there was very very light liquid damage & the water mark indicator near the FPC confirmed that for us also. None the less… I did my best to clean it up with 99% isopropyl alcohol and got it all cleaned up… after a screen replacement (using OEM parts) the iPhone 6S showed no signs of charging....

Chosen Solution I have replaced the battery with an IFixIt battery replacement. All was pretty straightforward and simple to do. However, on booting up I can’t get it charge or the dead battery icon to go away. -Reset SMC and PMU (Many times). -Unplugged and plugged in battery connector -Charged overnight -Reinstalled OS/ reset disk. The battery stats when booted (with power cord in) are all zero and no battery recognised....

Chosen Solution My Kenwood DPC-472 is consuming lots of AA batteries, so I thought I would try to run it via the AC adapter to save batteries. I removed the batteries and plugged in the adapter to a 120V socket and into the AC plug on the unit. I inserted a disk, made sure the Hold switch was not switched on, and pressed Play. 00 flashed on the screen, and the unit turned off....

Chosen Solution Just bought a brand new lcd and digitizer for my lg stylo 2. I took the old one out and replaced it with the new one. Now I am getting black and white lines all over the screen. I do’t think its the phones fault because the phone was working fines before, it just had a crack front digitiser. Could i have possibly plugged something in wrong? Please help!...

Chosen Solution When my Starbucks Barista is powered on ( Brew and Steam buttons are NOT pressed & Steam Knob closed tightly), water immediately starts flowing from Brew Head and doesn’t stop UNLESS machine is powered off OR the steam knob is opened which makes water then flows out of the wand. I press the Steam Button it will heat up and green ready light will go on and I can steam milk BUT as soon as I am done with frothing , close the Steam Knob and press the Brew Button- it immediately starts dripping from the Brew Head again then it will pull a shot, but won’t stop pulling the shot -(even though I depressed the Brew Button again) -only by powering off the machine will it stop brewing....

Chosen Solution I have a spare xbox one og console. The attached picture is where the burn marks are. This is where the power brick connects to the console. I have cleaned the motherboard after photo was taken. I can’t see any other damage so I am unsure which parts to replace if any. When I try to turn the console the light on the power brick turns red. Chosen Solution I was wondering it is possible to upgrade the lightbulb to have a brighter picture. That is unlikely. A brighter bulb would likely reduce contrast and saturation in picture quality, because the LCD was not designed for a brighter bulb. It is also unlikely that you could find a brighter bulb that would have the correct physical and digital properties. However, if you have used the projector a lot, the bulb could be failing....

Chosen Solution UPDATE 2 I tested the sensors using the sensor kinetics app from the app store. This shows it seems that all sensors are dead. So maybe M7 is damaged as it was also pointed out Screen orientation won’t rotate after LCD/digitizer replacement? by @tomchai. As this phone had a water damage, my last try is going to be to drown the logic board in 99 % isopropanol for some minutes and brush it gently with a soft brush....

Chosen Solution I have a 27" iMac with Retina 5K display - Intel Core i5, current OS-X is Yosemite 10.10.4. I changed out the 1TB HD with a 6TB HD. Reinstalled software, created two partitions (2 separate drives). MAIN GOAL: To create a Fusion Drive. PROBLEM: cannot unmount disk using terminal while booting from usb drive. I have found tons of instructions online, this site as well, none work. Disk utility will not unmount or erase the drive that has the recovery partition (actually on the 6tb drive, not on the apple SSD)....

Chosen Solution Ok so, itried fixing a water damaged iphone 5s today and did the whole alcohol thing. so i put the motherboard in and tried turning it on… nothing. so i plug it in then i get an apple logo for about half a second then it switches to a black backlit screen and stays there. maybe i didnt remove all the corosion and need to clean it more? by the way i did plug it and itunes recognizes it and i restore it… i get an error code 3194....
