Chosen Solution I replaced my battery two days ago, the mac limited topping off the battery at around 93% as it had been sitting unused. The next morning I unplugged it and used it until it shut down with no warning. When powered back up with the PSU it reported being at around 45%. I’m assuming the calibration is messed up now if it wasn’t already. What can I do to get it to calibrate now that it’s completely hosed the calibration attempt....

Chosen Solution Hi, My iPhone 6S don’t load energy so i replaced the battery, charge jack and finally Tristar IC (two times). I plugged the charge cable and with the multimeter measured the voltage which was between 0 and 1.5 Volts. Someone can tell my what I did wrong or what could I do to get a higher voltage between 4.8 and 5 Volts? I read some threads of this kind of subjects and they advise me to find the “pins” voltage and measure them (I know that in iPhone 6, are the C1704 and Q1701)....

Then on one of the restarts I got a panic code: panic(cpu 8 caller 0xffffff80237afbab) Since then, my screen is black and only the fan runs high when turned on. Tried resetting PRAM and SMC multiple times with no luck - keyboard keys seem unresponsive. Caps lock will not light up. The LED on the MagSafe power adapter stays solid green when attached....
Chosen Solution Now, I have a black strip at the bottom of my iPhone 4S screen which has appeared after I replaced the battery. This black strip covers about 1/4 th of the bottom-most row of icons. Other than that the phone works perfectly fine including the touch response from icons which are partially covered. iOs installed version 9.3.5 (13G36) Update (10/30/2018) iPhone 4S battery replacement does not require screen removal at all....

There are a lot of things you can do to deal with stripped screws. Take a look at our guide for some options. If you can share a photo of the screws, we can provide some more specific tips. Once you get the screws out, you’ll probably want to replace them with new ones—if you bring one to your local hardware store as a sample, they can probably help you find something....

Issue is my screen cracked a few months ago but was still working fine. Recently, in the past two or three weeks, it stopped working. Chosen Solution I am trying to playback video that I took on my camera but there is no sound coming from it. I have changed the sound settings and it is maxing out the volume. I have no idea how to fix this. There is no other options that involve volume. Look to see if there is a mute option that is separate from the direct volume control. If not, the internal speaker may be worn down or lost a connection....
Chosen Solution I have a 17" Macbook Pro from early 2008, model A1261, with a CCFL 1680x1050 screen. I know that replacing a CCFL panel with a LED one would require also replacing the logic board and the whole display assembly, so the question is whether a hi-res CCFL screen from an older model would fit. I suspect there might be a difference in connectors given that older Macbook pros were shipped with ATI graphics and not NVidia....

I was charged £40 for a new charging port and a new battery. 3 weeks later the phone again stopped charging and eventually the battery ran down to zero. When I took it back to the same shop I was told that there is no problem with the items recently replaced and that the issue is with the motherboard....

Chosen Solution The pin that the power supply attaches to seems to be wiggling. I can only get flashes of connection. I think the pin is loose and needs to be resoldered inside the case. Is there any alternate way to fix it? Can I solder this myself (reach the necessary area) if I disassemble the unit? Chosen Solution My LCD has two issues. First, when the LCD is flipped and faced backward, it turns off automatically, which only happens when the LCD is facing forward (Not showing). Second, when the LCD is rotated to the left and flipped to the forward position for taking selfie, the view does not rotate anymore. Everything else works fine.
